Cheapest I've seen this excellent Blu-ray boxset. Amazon seem to have price matched but they fon't have the 10% code which brings this down to £22.49 (SIGNUP10). Elsewhere this is around £35 to £40 from what I can find.
The first three series of the BBC crime drama following the lives of a gangland family living in Birmingham in the early 1920s. Named after their practise of sewing razor blades into the peaks of their caps, the notorious 'Peaky Blinders' gang is one of the city's most feared, with interests in illegal betting, protection and the black market. Former war hero and brains behind the operation Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy), however, is eager to safeguard his family's success by expanding and legitimising the business but faces many obstacles in doing so. The cast also includes Sam Neill, Annabelle Wallis, Tom Hardy and Helen McCrory.

People do still buy dvd and Blu-ray, maybe not like they did 10 years ago but they must still be selling well because most film and TV shows still get a hard format release.

I subscribe to cinema paradiso to get Blu-Rays delivered to me and I buy Blu-Rays of films I enjoy, why? Because if a film is worth seeing it's worth seeing in the best quality you can get/afford with the soundtrack also at the best quality you can get. I have a modest amp and speaker setup and a 4k TV, I wouldn't degrade the investment I made in those by streaming everything. Streaming might have HD or even 4k resolution but it's compressed massively to get it down average broadband connections and definitely no TrueHD surround sound either.

Its on in 5 mins

Not sure lol, I stopped buying them years ago a part from the odd cheap deal I see. I can't see them going a way anytime soon but I did say that about CDs and no one I know buys them anymore.

Watch them again lol. I've a huge blu-ray and DVD collection, I'm just film mad.
Some people like to collect plus with an original blu-ray you get extras and DTS-HD or Dolby Atmos if you have a compatible receiver, something Netflix and other streaming services don't offer.

I'm film mad too but watching a film more than twice is bizarre. So much to watch!

They are but I still can't part with mine, all been converted to flac and stored In the attic. Also got about 1000 dvds that I bought from 1997 to 2012. I do get your point on the way things are going, certainly the younger generation laugh about CDs and DVDs. Blu-ray and Blu-ray 4k ain't going anywhere as they are still the best format, Amazon and Netflix compressed 4k is no comparison to 4k Blu-ray in picture and sound.

They are worth a bit, I've moved on anything worth a lot like the mega pc and SNES, all I'm left with is Sony and Microsoft consoles which don't get much money so may as well keep them for a few more years.

I had a boxed Mega Drive 2, Mega CD 2 and loads of games all boxes mint, my mam gave them to my step brother who then sold them for £50. The person who has them now will be laughing. Cex are even offering crazy money for old retro stuff.

Excellent watch! BBC are making some real good short series, this and Line Of Duty really stand out.
