Peanut butter Chocolate (not Reese's) at Morrisons 740g £1.85

Much cheaper than the brand name, but requires a little DIY. Morrison's Saver's crunch peanut butter is 65 pence for 340 grams. The Saver's milk chocolate is 30 pence per 100 grams (buy four bars). Scoop peanut butter with a piece of chocolate like you were dipping a chip. White and dark chocolate are the same price if you want variety.

Just my estimate of the likely chocolate to peanut butter ratio. Your mileage may vary.
I feel like just buying an actual bar of Reese's would be cheaper, nicer & easier.
I've come back for another read. It sounds worse the second time... oO

Doesn't exist: but I'd far rather consume a standard size bar of Reese's than this concoction...!

I haven't claimed it was the same. It is an alternative at a much lower price. If you have tried it and prefer to pay more for the real thing, fair enough. Or you can pay more for brand-name chocolate and peanut butter, and still save over Reese's prices, but having tried it, I think the difference is minimal.

Em, we are talking about American 'food' here right?
Their peanut butter contains a record low 65% peanuts. And as well as not having any traceability on where they get their cocoa, they 'chocolate' products seem to contain very little actual cocoa.
Like a lot of American industrial food (for instance Old El Paso Guacamole contains only 14% Avocado).
So, no I think quality is much of an issue.
Morrison's Saver's peanut butter contains 87% peanuts. Some "own brand" varieties costing twice as much contain 91% peanuts. Reese's Creamy Peanut Butter contains 89% peanuts, and ingredients "Produced from Genetically Modified Sugar, Corn and Soya Beans" (source tesco.com).
Sun Pat crunchy contains 95% peanuts (smooth 94%) and only peanut oil. Tesco has it on offer right now at £2 for a 454 gram jar.
i like a good idea and this is one. yum! i make caramel rice cakes with peanut butter and chocolate spread. it's like a snickers toffee crisp
