Seems a good price for this guitar, cheapest ever according to camel camel camel.

Good review here,

Thanks - bought one. These still cost around $700 in the states, and are almost impossible to get in this country!

The EMG 60 + EMG 81 + EMG-AB will set you back £180 ish. That means the body + case + strings + all the other bits cost a total of £40 - crazy.

horrible just horrible.

Oh, you're right, I never noticed. I cancelled my order - thanks for saving me! Only kidding.

On a serious note - if you play any kind of metal, you will not find a better guitar than this for £200. Like I said, the circuitry in it alone is worth almost what they're asking. Have a listen to some of the videos on YouTube, this plays extremely well, and the one I played had a really good action. Actually felt nicer to play than my Razorback!

Plus, I swear I remember you saying a Yamaha guitar was good a while ago? :P

I'm sure this thing plays and sounds great, but for the 99.98795% of the guitar buying public, looks are everything. And this thing is just plain UGLY! Looks more like it's crippled with arthritis than carved by black eyed angels using the charred remains of Satan's last conquest

I would take a decent budget Yamaha over this in a heartbeat, but this is still a good deal. Just not for me.

The 81, 60 and Afterburner circuit would set you back more than this. Hot!

Buy this, gut it for parts, burn the rest... still good value.

New guitarists. Remember the majority of your tone comes from your amp. A good amp is more important than 'good' pickups, for example I wouldn't buy this if I was playing through a garbage Line6 amp or something. Would still sound terrible. Though they're more than adequate for practice/jamming, obviously depends on your needs... also EMGs are so widely used in metal these days they sound boring to me, don't be brainless and buy them without checking out other pickups! Be innovative

Yeah thats not a pretty guitar.
It is crazy cheap for an EMG loaded metal guitar though, you could rip the parts out and hot rod a nicer guitar then load this with cheap electrics and sell it on ebay for around a hundred i reckon. very good deal!

Just noticed it also comes with a hard case... if this guitar was a more agreeable shape i would have been all over this.

I couldn't need another guitar any less if i tried though.

The amazon review is for the Void III.

Couldn't find anything for the Void II on YouTube.

Bargain for a peavey!! I have an old peavey predator made in the USA in Mississippi and I still love it!!

It looks to me as the only difference between the two is that the III has a Kahler Trem and the II has a string thru. I wouldn't go for a Kahler trem unless over night i either A) gain a guitar tech or B) become Eddie Van Halen.

just ordered one, for that price it would be rude not too.

I actually quite like the shape and look of it.

Its a cracking deal when you consider a decent hard case alone is around £100

there was one left when i ordered 10 minutes ago

Does anyone know whether the Void 1 would be a good purchase since Void 11 is out of stock? It would be a first electric guitar.

It's not as good a deal, but if you like the look of it, it's still cheap.
It's the same guitar essentially, the other one was a kind of deluxe version with top end electronics and a case. I guess this one will have Chinese copies of the same parts. It'd be perfectly fine. You wouldn't be able to get a hard case that fit it for less than around £100 though.

Thanks - tempted to buy.

I wouldn't personally bother with the I - it's the same shape/body, but has far inferior electronics inside (the afterburner is what gives the II it's decent sound IMO).

the Void 1 is still a decent deal but the Void 2 was a better bargain as it had better pickups (£180 alone and used by many top name metal guitarists ie james hetfield traditionally used a set of EMG 81/EMG 60 ) , afterburner circuit and also a hard case.

You could sell the pickups on the VOID 2 and the case and clear a decent profit if you were so minded - that would not work with the Void 1.

The VOID 1 is still a decent guitar for the money though

Haha I think my case is going to be sold - a certain someone in the house wasn't too impressed when I unboxed a coffin this morning
