If mods feel this (as in this thread) should be spammed or merged with UKM8's thread that's perfectly fine in my books!

If you ever write an autobiography it should be called "Finally Personally"

I ordered on the original deal from Currys this morning. Had one of them Chinese cheap ones before. Works great but lack of apps was it's downfall.

Haha, didn't even notice I'd written that... I also had one of the cheap chinese ones (initially got the fake moto G from Buyee but whilst it was nice it was limited like you say... then got the super cheap one for a tenner, U80, and it was just awful...)

brilliant price for a brilliant smart watch. I've got a pebble time now but I'd snap this one up if I was looking to get one. heated

clearly!

Only thing putting me off is issues with Doze mode on android 6.0.

have one for 2 years now. has been my everyday watch ever since. batter still going strong for a week as I turn it off every night. well worth 49quid.

i still easily get a week's life out of my time without turning it off each night - standby mode takes care of that.

Had one of these back when it was a Kickstarter. Love the 10-12 day battery life (not switching it off or anything - it just lasts that long). Moved up to a Steel last year and loving that too. Wear it daily.

Super price for the original Pebble!

i do sometimes wish their app store was easier to browse through, or at least had a web equivalent so that you could get a better idea of the apps available.

I am pretty sure that is the goal of Prime

i've always fancied something like this for a new strap for my time

ebay.co.uk/itm…446?var=&hash=item4d1e5ed606:m:myw58XYXP4i9TedeSKiJg8Q

i'd be terrified i'd screw it up and the watch would fall off though

Decent smartwatch. You can pick one up used on ebay for £30ish.

You can't... I've been on eBay looking at these for a few months since a disappointing cheap one on Amazon.

Plus you get warranty here too and its new

Fair enough. I got my used one for £37, having missed out on some for £27ish. I should imagine that the used prices will go down again after these £49 new deals.

So tempting

Good bit of kit at the price but I've seen better looking tumors

This is charging me for delivery, the curry's deal isn't!

It's quite a long way. I leave my phone on my desk and sit in a meeting room down the corridor, and the alerts come through. That's through a few walls on the way.
I have a friend who swims and leaves the phone in a bag at one end of the pool and he gets the alerts at the other end of the pool (gym pool, about 25 metres).

They have them in stock in all my local stores and for this great price

Hate currys much prefer amazon - thanks for posting this.

does this work with a windows phone? Maybe unofficially?

There's an unofficial paid app on the windows phone app store that claims to work with it, although some of the reviews look a bit iffy. It appears to only work while running on your phone, so kill the app and seemingly lose the connectivity.
