Pebble Steel brings smart function and elegant form together in a high-end package. Ruggedly handsome, Pebble Steel is crafted from marine-grade stainless steel and Corning Gorilla Glass, so it’s as tough as it is good looking. And it’s built with the same brains as Pebble, so you can have the latest scores, your Starbucks card or even your boarding pass on your wrist. It’s the smartest watch you’ll ever own, and the smartest-looking watch we’ve ever made. Choose from Black Matte or Brushed Stainless Steel. Ships with a black genuine leather watch band.

Leaving Your Phone in Your Pocket Has Never Been Classier
We all need to be connected and accessible, but pulling out your phone at dinner to check a text message or incoming call is a bit gauche. With Pebble Steel, just a quick glance lets you read messages, see who’s calling or see important emails and never miss a beat. Or with hundreds of free apps, check the weather, stocks, train schedule and more. And yes, it also tells the time—with nearly 1,000 watchfaces to suit your style.

Perfect for Meetings Underwater
Ridiculous, right? Pebble Steel doesn’t think so. It’s waterproof up to 5 ATM (approx. 165 feet) so you can be accessible even while doing laps in the pool. With the available steel band, Pebble Steel is perfect for things like running in the rain or boating, while keeping your phone tucked away and dry. And while we’re on the subject of exercise, Pebble Steel also syncs with popular apps like RunKeeper, letting you track your progress from your wrist.

Apps for Everything — Pebble App Store
Discover thousands of apps and watchfaces to customize Pebble Steel to fit your life. Check sports scores with the ESPN app, listen to your music, or start voice navigation without having to touch your phone. Popular apps like RunKeeper and FreeCaddie help you track performance and enjoy what you love. Check in on FourSquare with a single click or find a place to eat on Yelp! Pebble is an open platform, so new apps are always in the works from our development community and partners, letting you take advantage of new watchfaces, games and other innovations. Control your favorite music apps—including iTunes, Spotify, and Pandora—from your Pebble without missing a beat while running, cycling or just playing music from a dock at home. With notifications, you can get discreet updates on the information that is most important to you. In addition to Caller ID, email, text message, and calendar alerts, you can choose to receive notifications from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more.

Easy Operation
Thanks to long battery life, Pebble Steel will go up to 7 days between charges. It notifies you when it’s getting low, and you simply connect it to a USB port using the easy magnetic cable. Then you’re good to go. Pebble Steel has easy-access Up and Down buttons to scroll through watchfaces and menus. The Select button takes you to the main menu, which includes music control, alarm, and settings. A simple tap on the watch or flick of your wrist will illuminate the backlight

I have a steel (leather strap) and for this price they're great. Yes they're out dated compared to the latest smart watches, but if you want something that looks good and has really good battery life, go for it
might get a bit chilly due to an uncertain future but heated from me. got my pebble time on at the moment
I really wanted the pebble 2 as it has a heart rate monitor but when fitbit bought them, they have no intentions to update anything and I believe no warranty too? I was gutted and Im back at the drawing board for a smart watch thats good, cheap and a heart rate monitor

If you buy direct from Amazon, Amazon will (unofficially?) honour the warranty. They offered to take back my Pebble Time Steel after 10 months for a full refund.

Any nice leather strap recommendations? Or a nice steel one ? Bought btw thanks op.
Great deal, I love mine, worn it everyday for almost 3 years. I prefer it over other smart watches because of the battery and it looks more like a normal watch that most. I have a pebble time as well but prefer the steel as I don't want something with a colour screen, just look tacky imo, especially at work.
For longer term support, some of the ex-Pebble staff have set up Rebble - rebble.io/ - I saw an interview that suggests that while they might not exactly have Fitbit's full support, they won't go out of their way to shut them down either. They believe that if Fitbit close down the Pebble servers at the end of the year, Rebble will be in a place to run in their place.

Any improvements you have noticed or a change of servers?

Got a huwaei 1 but miss the pebbles buttons and screen like mad.
Its the watch that was designed to well too die.

I had 3 of the original pebbles that all developed the screen tearing problem- this Pebble Steel is also very prone to this problem. Pay a little more and get a Pebble Time/ Time Steel.
There are also loads of useful apps that won't run on watches earlier than Time.
Seems a bit chunky for my liking, seems very deep
Rip Pebble... Cold. Company no longer supports the device, no repairs, no support.

If Android O or iOS update breaks the way it works, you get yourself a brick.
I have one great watch that you actually want to wear.. in terms of the smart feature, I just kept it basic only using it for notifications... If you want all the bells and whistles go for android wear
any good for sat nav, as that be handy when walking

did you ignore the post that mentioned about ex pebble developers picking up the project and the likelihood that the watches will be supported for a long time to come yet ?
Waiting for a cheap Pebble Time Steel Silver to pop up, I have the Pebble Steel and it works perfectly connected to my iPhone when reading text messages starting/stopping music and answering calls, that's basically all I need it for! Love the fact I only charge it once a week and even then it only takes about 20mins to fully charge. I'd get an Apple watch if the battery lasted longer than a day!
My pebble steel is still working ok, getting 7 days battery but screen looking rough around the edges due to me having an outdoor job.
Good price but my preferred time steel is double the price, the normal time is only£50 but is there any negatives to the time
steel?

I have a P Time Steel and absolutely love it. If you can afford it, go for it.
I have the original, time round and pebble 2. I still love wearing pebble watches!!
Just got pebble time round from Argos eBay for £79.99 with 12 month warranty. Very nice watch so light and slim only 2 days battery but only 15 - 30 mins to charge. And I've just ordered the time steel in gold £65 from Amazon already got it in silver but I thought at these prices what the heck time steel is a good daily beater feels more robust than time round.

Scrap that, just checked the version on the Play store and it is the same as my phone. The watch version is unchanged though, right?

unofficially, who knows what will come of it. and even that is speculative and has no guarantee of quality.

the fact remains that officially there is no support going forward, and no warranty of any kind if it breaks.

personally that would put me off going anywhere near buying one of these, in spite of it being a good product in itself.
Never heared of these before but are they easy enough to use ? I'm not a very techy person bit is it easy enough to say operate Spotify?

yes, very easy. i find if I assign the default music app to the bottom button then it's one press to get up what's playing and a second press to skip the track forward and that's that.

the top button goes back one track as well
And is it easy to assign the default music app . I have no idea about these watches .

I got a refund from Amazon for my original pebble 18 months after I bought it....then used my refund to buy a time. Love my pebble

B*llocks. The warranty is covered by Amazon so 12 months, and you'll be offered replacement/repair or refund for 2 years under the EU directive from Amazon, as evidence above shows.

Probably the very common screen tearing issue, same thing happened to mine but unfortunately I bought mine from Currys not Amazon. Luckily it's a really easy diy fix.

Exactly - Amazon may not be able to repair, or replace once they're out of stock, but you won't lose your money.
Got a second hand Pebble Time when my OG Moto360 kicked the bucket.

I absolutely love it, great device. They feel very premium for the cost. Battery life is great (well, compared to the 360...). There's a huge community out there who also love the devices and are still doing a lot to support them. The only major gripe I have is the way it handles notifications. If, for example, a friend sends me three whatsapp messages in quick succession the watch will only display the first one. In fact, it won't refresh at all until I get my phone out and check them there! A big part of why I enjoyed my 360 was that it drastically reduced the amount of times I fished my phone out of my pocket. On the pebble, not so much...

TBH I lost the original cable-bought a cheap one on eBay but it started to not charge properly. I'm not sure if it was the watch or the cable. It ended up stuck in a recovery mode cycle. I missed off the replacement cable thing when I told Amazon it wasn't fit for purpose....
Two mins ago just got 'check in code' text on my pebble. Best for...1.getting texts on your wrist when paired with iPhone . Can send pre set text replies e.g. 'Can't reply now but if urgent please send details in text'
2. Seeing who's calling your iPhone on your wrist especially when on bicycle or meeting
3. Keeping score in badminton
4. Checking the tide times
It has no microphone to take calls (even on the pebble 2 with microphone you can take calls via mic just use it for voice to text replies.
It syncs my steps with Runkeeper via UP or Misfit (I'm currently having issue with it working with misfit ) and syncs with apple health app.
Syncs sleep as well.
Charge once a week and E ink easy to read in bright sunshine
Wear it every day
Just seen typo sorry ' even with pebble 2 you CAN'T take calls on phone but you can can voice to text reply . This pebble has no MICROPHONE OR heart rate monito
Really like my Pebble Steel - a couple of 31630691-qEYyE.jpgweeks ago I bought a matching stainless strap to replace the black leather one and it transformed it.
