Ok for the purposes science I opened a bottle. This idoes not have the class and depth of a £12+ bottle quality , but would not have been upset if paid £5 (edited)

It's dry and 12% ABV, drinking it right now, very pleasant. Purchased 12 yesterday, NOT limited to 6 per customer!

They featured the 2019 vintage on Saturday Kitchen last year as a steal at £5 a bottle. It's personal taste but I've tried it and enjoyed it and at 12% ABV it's not too heavy

I've had a few bottles of this at full price and thought it was pretty decent for a fiver. When I saw that it was on offer at this price I bought two boxes without a second thought. The lady in front of me had a trolley full of it - maybe six or eight boxes.

I've had 2 or 3 bottles from a previous weekend special.

I don't normally drink white but this was way better than most reds at this price, especially in today's market.

Maybe white is naturally "better"? I've never had a bad one.

Really nice bottle, they often have it on offer for £4.50 a bottle but this deal is great

Had some of this in the past, it’s “okish”, I’d have it chilled on a hot day with chicken sort of thing. It’s nothing special in my personal opinion but not bad either. Definitely worth a buy at that price but let’s say I’m myself not rushing out to see if there’s any left. Lidl I’ve maintained for a while is a good source of incredible for the price wine and some I’d say tastes like much more than they’re charging. Just steer clear of any cheap French… but that’s about normal for anywhere really. This does not extend to their beer which is often rank

Why would you need a chicken and a hot day to drink wine buddy ?
This is really decent wine for the price. I buy a bottle of it from time to time for the full price and I think it's still worth it so with a deal like this I will definitely buy a box if still available at my local Lidl.
