Peggle Free for Android Amazon Appstore

Today Peggle is free on the Amazon Appstore.

It is meant for us customers only but it is simple enough to sign up for the appstore.

This deal was posted before for Plants vs Zmobies but is well worth doing as every day a new free app is available to download (sometimes a good one, like today)

EDIT follow these steps to sign up for amazon appstore

Yea they do this on the larger apps, bit strange really but oh well. I personally don't care as always in wifi range but it's a strange thing to do.

OK - so how do I get this?
I signed up, downloaded the app and all I get is "The amazon appstore for android is not yet available in your region"
This forum says that you can't get stuff in the UK yet:

Sorry should have been a bit clearer. I followed these steps which worked for me.

It's a bit of a faff but well worth it as you get a paid app a day.

74.1MB?!? Guess that rules out getting it for my HTC Desire then...

After hours mucking about with proxies, I got it working!
Cheers OP
By the way, it installed ok on my desire (MIUI)

too much hassle for me. Still, heat added as may be usefull for some.

Yea it is a right pain but I think well worth it. Also once you have done it the apps will install to any android device you install the appstore to (I install to both my phone and my galaxy tab)

Edit - why are people voting cold? Surely paid apps for free is a good thing?
I don't really care either way but I find it great and thought others would too.

did you use a new email? I just followed the steps and used a new .com email

If you have an OSF do not bother it will not run it.

I used a new email but still no luck

I think Amazon have cottoned on and are checking the IP address when you create your account...
I had to create my Amazon.com account while IE was using a US proxy.
For good measure, I also used a US proxy on my phone while installing the App Store.
Once the purchase has been authenticated, you can stop using the proxy and the download will continue at a decent speed.
