Customer: I have yet another faulty SONY DPS Board and it occurs every 6 months?
SONY: Item is on back-order, we hope you enjoy your Sony purchase thus far and now complete silence for 3 months while we keep up with the demand in faulty parts
Is this as good as the Hisense H55M7000?
pity there is no guarantee with it. do you think JL will price match?

Also eager to know this!
On paper the sony set is brighter (but still way off HDR premium spec), has IPS vs VA, doesn't have stupid wide legs.
Hisense offers more of the p3 colour range (not that you'd probably notice)

Both FRC, both 60hz panels, both near identical input lag of under 40ms.

The 7000 is/was hisense's top end set, the sony is a midrange one. Not seen any in person, but I'd go for the sony simply because I'd need to buy a new stand.
Sony and recent Samsung TVs > everything else for one simple reason: flicker-free backlights. If you value your health research why this is important.

Terrible blacks and light bleed on this, don't buy if you like watching tv in dark rooms.

Twin tuner rather than single, MotionFlow 400 rather than MotionFlow 200, Triluminos Display, Edge lit rather than direct lit, 400 cd/m2 rather than 500 cd/m2.

The tables on flatpanelshd.com/new…680 and displayspecifications.com/en/…c71 might help

I have the 65m7000 and it is hands down sublime... my mate has this and we are divided... they are both pretty equal... Hisense is prettier though!

I have this tv and probably on all the threads I mention that the blacks were the first thing I noticed. They're not as dark as my old HD tv. This is only noticeable when most of the screen is showing a large black picture.

Mostly using it for gaming and have no complaints when it comes to that.

Watching movies in a dark room isn't that bad especially if you have LEDs behind the tv.

Have it mounted on the wall with a swivel mount
