Had a big pallet of these in ASDA Bridgend this morning at 0720. Had a big sign behind them for £2.50 so I asked one of the girls to scan the code and check for me. She said they came up at £7.50 and then whispered that I should take one through the till and then report to customer services that I had been overcharged and they would refund the £5.
Worked!
Best before June 2020.
It appears there had been Kelloggs corn flakes there previously and they had not repriced the sign.

Best before January 2020. I think its reduced price because it was promotional pack for champions league (see photo).

But the sign on the orignal poster says Pepsi Max for this Price.

I was just in the Newcastle store and they don't have this deal in there. All they had was 30 Cans of Diet Coke for £10 I passed on that one.

Ironically you were actually short changed here! Asda policy for ALL over charges is to refund the difference which they did (£5) PLUS a £2 gift card due to being overcharged!

[quote]What can I do if I think I've been overcharged?

It's really important to us to make sure the price you see is the price you pay at the checkout. If we've made a mistake and you're overcharged, we'll give you a refund for the difference and a £2 Gift Card to say we're sorry.

If you think you have been overcharged, please take your receipt to our Customer Service desk and our colleagues will be happy to look into this for you.

I heard the gift cards come out of the stores 'bonus pot' so the staff don't like giving them out if they can avoid it.
I've even had managers point blank refuse it exists before.
Show them their own website on your phone, and call up head office while standing in front of them if necessary

Ah that will explain my awful experiences in-store then from customer service staff &manager! Point blank always refuse me the gift card when I am clearly entitled to it!
(Apparently it is at stores discretion!)
