Been looking for a decent bed for ages and found this on Sainsburys website. Seems like a decent deal as reduced from £1140.

Product overview

Enjoy a better night's sleep, on the Perfecta Pocket Memory Foam 2-drawer Divan. The memory foam moulds to the contours of your body, so whatever position your body adopts while you're asleep you'll always be perfectly supported.

The layer of memory foam is added to 1000 individual springs that are completely independent from one another. This means that when you lie on the mattress each spring responds individually to the contours of your body to create a good night's sleep.

The two drawers make for a useful place to store bedding too.

The Perfecta Pocket Memory Foam 2-drawer Divan comes in the following sizes:

Single 190x90x35cm.
Double 190x135x35cm.
Kingsize 200x150x35cm.
Superking 200x180x35cm.

Mattress cover material (tick) composition
Top tick: 100% polyester
Border tick: 64% polyester, 36% polypropylene
Base tick: 25% viscose, 75% polyester

Comes with a five year manufacturer's guarantee.

Looks good but I have no faith in RRPs for beds, furniture and sofas etc . When ,if ever were they actually sold at that price ?

Why has this been posted at sale price of £349 when it may have been 4 days ago? Why come up now, surely this should have been expired?

whether this is a good deal or not, i advise everyone to actually go into a shop and lie on a bed, you will be surprised at how much they differ when you lie on them.

i just bought a new bed, going from a memory foam to a sprung divan. im glad i went to the shop as the bed suits me better, if i had bought it from the internet i would have bought another memory foam.

Morning all.

Looking for a new mattress please which caters for someone recovering from slipped discs in my back. Which brand, type and level of firmness should I look at?

Thought about going to John Lewis but I am not sure which bed retailers e.g Bensons, Dreams are helpful?

Thanks for your help

take a look at factory beds direct online, they have a wealth of information and will give advice too. Best bed and mattress site I've ever seen. Good luck with the back.

Thanks Beanio! :-)

i bought my new one from bensons, delivered start of feb. reason for a new bed is wife's bad back and without trying the beds its hard to say. if you do need to buy online i'm sure you can get the details and check manufacturers website for same models at different shops (each bed and mattress are made exclusively for bed shop) then go to shops and try them out.

word of warning about buying online we bought online and after my wife hurt her back and then recovered she has spent the best part of 6 months on the couch as its comfier than our online memory foam matress.
