quite a good price, you can get cheap ram, and better gpu along with new psu and make it legit gaming pc for around £300 extra if you wanna upgrade in future

looks a good entry level piece of kit to me. Should still be able to handle all the recent titles at 1080p (which is more than good enough for the majority)

2 things.
1 - could build for about £70 cheaper (often the case but still worth noting)
2 - doesn't come with Windows

Its weird how you posted this deal when 2 hours ago i was looking at this PC 'Hyper CCL 4.0GHz AMD Octo Core Gaming PC - 8GB, 120GB SSD, 1TB,WiFi, Win 7 Pro'. Probably going to purchase it later. Just have to discuss it with my brother. Quite expensive for what it is. I do know its much cheaper building it on your own but I'd rather not. By the way, i really don't want to put cclcomputers down like this but if you look at the purchase history on various products, you can tell they have increased their prices on every one of them. I don't care much though.

Actually just made some adjustments to the PC i was talking about earlier without the wireless network (who needs that?) and it came up as 695.99. After hours of researching, i think i found the perfect PC. Finding a decent gaming PC with Windows 7 installed is an absolute nightmare.

Wow shocking PCs are more expensive than last year in relative terms. We got a Zoostorm i5 4460, 8Gb, 2tb hdd, gtx960 2gb, DVD-RW, win 10 for £499.

Or a PS4 and VR headset for similar price?

Build your own, you will get better components for the same price. uk.pcpartpicker.com/

Son already has ps4 but vr overpriced and you need ps4 pro to get the full gain.also time is running out in building my own system as xmas present
Thanks for all the input as its helping me decide

Wouldn't say 8GB memory is enormous...
For gaming, I only do 16GB. Just running Rocket League, 50 Chrome tabs (since I can't be asked to close them, but hey - they give me much music and love) and a heap of other software to provide the bare minimum for me just tips 8GB. Maybe 6GB if Chrome isn't running mind... :P

Questionable as just built a basic gaming/office PC for my dad last weekend at a total cost of around 620. Only real differences is I went with an mITX form factor so yes theres money to be lost there and also a 500GB SSD rather than the 1TB in here. Rest are around the same although got an i5 6400. So at the price CCL are selling this one its good value for anyone not wanting to build one themselves.

Pretty big difference between the 750ti and the 1050.

I'm thinking this one for me. The AMD processor in this is very close to this i5.
