...and you'd be hard pushed to find a 250GB 2.5" hard disk for less than this...without the USB case!

Hope they honour mine then, really the price reduction was only £40.00 not even, 50% so hopefully for me they will honour it. Thanks to OP

Thanks to you millarcat!

well its gone again missed it again!

ok, severly doubt this comes with office 2007 as just checked the order and its how been broken into the 3 separate items (hd,mouse & case) but also has a Performance Computing Bundle listed (therefore now 4 items on the order)???
interesting?????

The Performance Computing Bundle is the name of the Bundle, so it just includes it in the list. If it doesn't have the software included it should be fine to return, as it's a mistake on their part

yup was thinking that

Has anyone received it yet?

If so, can you confirm whether or not it included ms office?

Welll I got mine, the three items were there bag, mouse and portable drive but no software, plus an empty blank A5 jiffy bag........................? Might have to give them a tinkle just to see what they say. Am happy with the bundle but the software would have been a bonus.

Can you let us know what they say?

was offered 10percent discount on bundle not inculding office, turned it down and now have a collection between 7am and 7pm tomorrow lol, 12hr window not amused lol

Hi contacted Tesco, they agreed that the web site shows it should be included, however they need to contact the supplier of the bundle to see whether it should have been included, or whether it was an error on website. Advised that they sell the Office 2007 and could not supply one from their stock. They are going to get in touch with me. about what they are planning to do. Either send item back for refund or keep as is, seems to be the option he was initially voicing. Will await call from them. They also said that they had 1 enquiry from another customer.

Funnily enough, the other customer was probably from the post above yours

Yeah probably, I am reasonably happy with this bundle though. And wonder if returning would just be biting nose off to spite face.

They offered LiveWest a 10% off goodwill gesture, so see if you can negotiate that as well.

I got mine today, no Office. Is this legal? Isn't false advertising against the law? I don't just want a refund. I want some compensation in terms of a % discount or something or the sort. They have wasted my time.

just called and got a £15 refund

after talking to a supervisor (and forcing the fact of entering into contract once takin payment bla bla bla.....) just got it picked up & returned and £20 additional refund onto my card as a gesture of goodwill (after asking for a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience). Dont really need the drive as I have a few 500gb 2.5" ones.

tried to get them to send out the office home & student the stock for £96 but they were havin none of it and just kept saying they couldnt supply it at that price and that they are covered under their terms & conditions for incorrect decriptions.... got fed up and just accpeted a refund. was talking to a supervisor called Jane

Ah well £20 for a 15 min pone call aint bad.

They gave you a £20 goodwill gesture + you got a refund for returning it?

yep

back in stock for those who want the bundle... the reference to microsoft office removed from website ....

I bought the bundle when it 'included' office and I've yet to collect it from the store. I'm just wondering whether they'll still offer me a discount like the previous posts, seeing now they've removed it from the website

I just collected mine and have spoken to customer services, who informed me to send them a letter with the printed website page as proof of the office software being included. They told me that they would honour the deal once they had seen the website page.
