I've seen some matching mitre saw stands for £25 (half price from £50).

online still £50 but I'm sure it was £25 in store.

Great price, I bought a mitre saw off Amazon, Evo rage, before I knew sliding mitre saws were a thing.

With sliding saws at this price you'd be crazy to buy the fixed type - so limited.

I've got a circular saw from them which I've had roughly 10 years now. I've used it to cut 38mm laminate worktops, plywood, chipboard etc. It's been great. The laser isn't well aligned, but otherwise it works well. That's obviously got less to go wrong than a sliding mitre though.

Their drill bits... Not so good.
Thanks @srphotocouk, been waiting for them to hit this price. Grabbed one to replace my non-sliding one.
Saw this last night and grabbed it straight away. Needed to replace my old none sliding evo which has seen me through 2 house renovations but now no longer cuts 45 degree angles no matter what adjustments I make

Me too, great piece of kit
Been waiting a while for a deal on these, thanks! They also had a different model, twin bevel for £90 but the quality didn't look great. Stands in Gloucester were down to £40.
Thank you OP. Stopped by after work and picked one up. Just need to find a project now

No problems so far, nice simple cuts. Mitre joints accurate also.
Looks good I have been looking for a deal on a mitre saw.

I think their is also a good deal on a sledgehammer if you need to crack a nut
Are these any good for trimming doors? I'm assuming the fixture means you couldn't cut the entire width of a door?

I need a blade to cut composite decking. Would the blade that comes with this be ok. If not any recommendations. Thanks

Blade only has wood symbol on it so not sure if ok for composite.
I've been looking to upgrade to a sliding saw for a while, thanks.
Thanks OP - first time getting a mitre saw and have the skirting to update alongside the outside decking. Will keep me busy for a few weeks.

It'll cut it, but it won't be pretty.
Thanks, ordered
It's actually a decent bit of kit...

It needed a bit of tweaking to get it to cut square, but after that it's great...

^^ This - look for a 40 tooth alternate bevel, Titan do one. Less teeth = faster rougher cut. More teeth = slower more accurate cut. Composite and plastics = too many teeth and material melts.

Loads left in lakeside store.
