Nice, I was looking for what to post with this voucher from VC but couldn't find any and you spotted it.
@Chanchi32
A decent little vac for the money.
It's noisy and the plastic tubes for floor sweeping are a bit short for folk over 6ft, but a decent little workhorse for car or home workshop.
These are great for the price. Echo the poster above, the plastic tube is a little short but everything is "standard" so you can buy universal tools, extensions etc on ebay. The bags also are generic, any paper bag for titan cleaners will fit.
Wonder if this would be any good as an extractor in the shed for sawdust?

Can be used without bags.
I've never used bags in mine, as my workshop debris has a habit of rupturing paper bags anyway.
Great price - heat added
Can these be used for cleaning carpets?

I use it for the sander/saw with a remote control socket - you will need to find an adapter on eBay, but the outlet is standard 32cm... Note the short hose comments. I ended up buying an extention, but by the time i had done that the £40 wet and dry at lidl/aldi with a 2m hose ended up the same price.

Thanks for the info. Duly noted and purchased.
It does a OK job but the mains cable is short and it's painfully loud (I thought there was some legislation that banned vacuum cleaners that made this much racket)!

Yes, but they are a bit basic and a bit noisy. No substitute for a real vac. If you're using one in the house, make sure you have a bag fitted.

Works perfectly well for me.
Mine gets a lot of use attached to a shroud on an angle grinder, whilst I use a flap disc on old oak barrels.
Using said flap disc without the shroud/vac results in an enormous cloud of filth.
Just finished hoovering my car with it

No you haven't - it ain't a Hoover! You 'Performance Powered' it.
Omg is this the love child of Henry'etta Hoover and Metal Mickey?

Looks like a bargain for the money. Heat added.

Stupid question, but what can you use the wet function for?

My car has a leaky roof, so I end up getting small puddles in the footwells along with wet seats. This any good for that ?
Horrible vacuum. I bought it for the workshop but it is painfully loud and awfully cheaply built. I returned it and bought a Lidl one for slightly more. The quality difference was night and day.
Funny how these things never report how loud they are in the specs... Had a Wickes equivalent one about ten years back for similar money and you would seriously need ear protection if you were going to use it for more than a few minutes at a time.
Don’t waste your money. Have one and it’s too noisy. Bought it for a house renovation project as I didn’t want my Dyson to get clogged. Low suction and really loud.

Ever thought of sorting that out probably a block in the drainage tubes

Do you have a convertible? In which case your drain holes probably need rodded. When they block, water backs up and overflows into the cabin. It then gathers in the low points such as the foot wells.
I use it to drain the hot tub pipes.
My ears were ringing after I finished (and this is outside). It did the job but for some reason it stops sucking even though I have only filled it about a third of water. Spend more time emptying than I do using it
We had one of these for 6-7 months was great until this morning, cut out whilst using it and then it caught fire! B and q have us a credit note for what we paid but was so scary! We’ve just been Asda and got the 2 goblin hoovers for a combined total of just over 26 quid!
@Xch5733
When the new hoovers stop - you can say they snot goblin anymore!!

Hat, Coat, Door!

What made it catch fire? How did you put it out?

No idea how it caught fire it didn’t even bang or anything just cut off mid use and then smoke started coming out of it along with fire i ran to plug and switched it off and unplugged it. The 5 seconds or so it took me to do that the fire died down so I grabbed the handle and ran it outside and left it on front garden

Haha fair enough mate, I’d prob do the same thing so chuck the thing out the window depending how bad the fire is!

However a damp towel will put out the fire. Think with electrical fire may need different way to put it out.

Using mine without bags and sort of regretting it as emptying it means redistributing the dust you picked up in the first place. It is obnoxiously loud, as people have said, but the suction is not that bad at all, especially for the price.
Sounds awesome for the price
I returned this a week after purchase last year. One needs ear plugs while using... it is too loud, not suitable for indoor usage at all.
It's powerful. But it's very loud, the plastic hose is useless and the socket cable is so short.
