Why does it have a bag of its wet and dry?

It comes with a bag which when you read the manual says its only required for fine dust particles to protect the motor. Otherwise for normal wet / dry use you don't need a bag. I have been unable to find anywhere (including B&Q) that sell a compatible bag so for £30 I will take the risk of wrecking the motor over time!
Waste of money..bought one last year, worst vacuum ever, avoid like the plague, trust me...you have been warned.
Fragile cheap plastic pipe, utter crud.

The titan at screwfix for 34.99 has over 600 reviews and is 4 and a half star. I've been looking for a wet and dry vacuum that just needs to be decent and can get the job done while my build is going on. Doesn't seem to be anything better than the titan at the price point.

Here is the manual for the titan if anyone wants to check it out. Also the bag is listed as 'Dust collection bag (for dry cleaning only)' in the manual.

I'm also trying to decide which to buy. Refurbing the house so need a workhorse/beater to deal with a load of plaster/sanding dust. I wish it had a brush tool. Anyone know if this and Titan accept standard brush tools?

I've got the older model and it's still going strong after 12 years.
I bought the Titan one for £35 to clean after builders have been in every day, and it’s been fantastic so far. Really powerful and well made, also used a Henry and only difference seems to be the latter is quieter and has a proper carpet tool, which the Titan lacks (it’s just moulded plastic) But when used for vacuuming debris it’s been great

Was wanting clarification on this too. On the larger £69.99 Screwfix version it has a socket inbuilt to the vacume so you can power, power tools with a dust out port on them with a hose from the hoover attached... The smaller Screwfix one doesn't have the socket though which would hint at the fact this doesn't either.

Same as the Henry wet and dry use it bagged for normal use and bagless for wet use. That's how the Henry one works so I presume it's the same

These are the accessories you can buy for the titan if you want. 32mm tools should be ok for it.

worst vacuum ever

Can't be as bad as the seriously overpriced plastic Jaz workshop vac my father bought from screwfix some years ago against my advice, it melted!

He only got a year or two of occasional use and replaced it with a Nilfisk.

Reading some of the specs it seems nobody has bothered to tidy up the chinglish that's just lazy.
Ordered thank's
This any good for car seat cleaning / valet? Also what attachments would you need to do so? Assuming the standard “end” is too wide for the seats

Fishing my extension lead out the bin
Would the bags for dry vaccuuming be the same used on the henry?
Be aware this was £20 in B&Q last September. Bought 2, they are OK, just ok

Yeah I stuck the Henry brush tool on my titan. It's a brilliant vacuum for what you need it for. Exactly what I used it for plus attaching it to a wood planer and sander.
The Screwfix titan one you can buy a cartridge filter for, so you don't need bags. On Screwfix website it's only listed on bigger models however it fits the cheap one too

Thanks guys! (Spud and Matt)

So attaching the cartridge filter ... does that mean all the rubbish goes straight in the internal space of the vacuum (bin) and you just tip it all out? Also, about the bags, are they a one-time use or you can reuse till they fall apart?
So does this suck up little sprays of water or can it be used to suck water out from an aquarium?

Yeap exactly, the cartridge filter replaces the black foam one included with the set and allows you to use bag less.

The bags are disposable you cannot empty them, i have seen a few people saying they would make their own bags, but the cartridge filter is only a tenner so i just bought that, and to be honest i will probably run it filter less eventually.
I noticed all the bags for screwfix vacs like the titan are half the price on ebay
This one comes with a cloth bag that acts as the filter and the debris collects in the actual metal bin outside of the bag and is simply tipped out. Which over the years I have found to be a better system than a cartridge filter and of course those useless paper bags as the cartridge filter eventually blocks and the paper bags burst but the cloth dust bag is simply shook/beaten free of dust and fluff. There's also a foam filter that sits over the fan inlet as well.

What sort of cable storage does it have ?
Cable storage ............ none.
Bought this today and the lead is quite short as is the suction tube that my 5 foot something wife commented on.
As Shedloads said it has a cloth inner bag that can easily be washed when needed & the unit is easy to clean.
Will have a better check tomorrow & my first thoughts are to return it and pay a little more for something better.

But for £30.00 ...............
