Peroni Nastro Azzurro 660ml Bottles - £1.50 each at Tesco

Tesco have 660ml bottles of Peroni Nastro Azzurro for £1.50 each.

If you drink Peroni, this is easily the best current deal.

They also have 660ml bottles of various other beers, such as Birra Moretti, San Miguel and Cobra, for this price. However these are often reduced, whereas the Pernoi is rarely this cheap.

Maybe they're introduced the offer early in some parts of the country. A number of the bottles that are supposedly reduced from tomorrow are already £1.50, but the Peroni is still £2.29 in my local store.

They have loads on £1.50 today if you can't wait. Birra Moretti would be my choice.

Also arguably better - 4 x 500ml San Miguel cans are £4. That's what I went with in the end:p

Nice ,I prefer Morretti myself.Sweet have some heat

I think that peroni is overpriced in this country. Not any better than other good premium lagers.

"Also arguably better"? Made under Licence in UK Ur1ne

Is 75p per 330ml bottle really that good?

For premium quality larger yes. Not everyone just drinks any old p1ss with the intention of getting p1ssed

I couldn't give a toss where it's brewed tbh mate. Never had a bad San Miguel the world over - including HK where it's also brewed under license. A while back ten mates of mine had a blind taste test of 10 lagers and SM came top wheras Peroni was about 6th - overly carbonated.

I have spent plenty of time in Spain and anything made here is not the same - all lagers made under licence in Uk do not compare with the genuine article (eg: Stella,Carlsberg) Peroni is imported.
Where did you drink San Miguel in HK Charlie Chans Tapas Bar? What was the Paella like in HK.

"perroni" probably the best beer in the world,so good the Italians hate to see it leave....heat ,Im stocking up

San Miguel is no Estrella Damm !

Nice drink but stella has the edge on it for me..

will check halifax tomoz. Thanks

Yep, pretty good deal, but agree the home brew is the best, try the gold tuborg in Denmark, streets apart from the crap we get here.

Flombard

Bitter is better

and Lager is Regal backwards

Not imo. And what's with all this brewed in the uk under license. It can;t possibly be the same. Saying that I drank it in Italy and stil not that good. All a question of taste I suppose.

In Spain the locals treat San Miguel like Carling ...... what does that tell you

As it goes, I'd also personally prefer UK brewed San Miguel to Peroni. However, comparing the price of cans to bottles isn't right.

I think the key point is what I wrote in the original post - If you drink Peroni, this is easily the best current deal.

Cannot really stand the stuff myself, over rated and not a nice taste, but heat added cos if it's your thing, it's a good deal.

Loopy juice!

That works out £9 for 12 X 330ml bottles. Next time you are in Tescos look at the price of a box of 12

Birra Morretti 660ml has been £1.32 for the past 3 weeks in Tesco. I have cleared the shelves 3 times. Its only just increased in price this week to £1.50. So dont know if its such a great deal. It definatley a decent deal for Peroni.

Ask Italian charges over £6 for one of these.

tells me your talking b******s

Peroni or Heineken only for me, so thanks. I will leave carling for the unemployed.

Tesco had bavaria 660ml bottles at 1.39 for ages. i went through loads of them. It was one of the nicest lagers ive had. Think its shot up in price now.

FANTASTICO!!!!! X)

this drink is the best

I agree with stanglish and Disco Dave Birra Moretti is far superior. Much nicer flavour imo.

sick of paying £6.95 for these at Pizza Exprress lol

Overpriced yes, definitely. Ordered a pint of this at a pub near me a few weeks ago, before she even poured the pint she asked:
"Peroni is £4.80 a pint, are you sure you want it?"

Needless to say, i went for a carlsberg at £2.75 after that.

Perfect timing, I've now accumulated about 5 peroni glasses I've stolen from pizza express over the years!

I agree that the brewed in the UK or somewhere in the EU in a massive vat thing under licence makes lagers taste completely different. Good deal compared the normal price they charge for this but not for me .

Shame it's the Peroni Nastro Azzurro and not the Peroni Gran Riserva. Good deal all the same, heat added.

Get them in quick, you Scots out there!
