PES 2009 is the latest installment of the award-winning Pro Evolution Soccer Series, which is known by millions of fans for its superior gameplay and incredible realism. For PES 2009, Konami is already planning a raft of extensive new additions that will further bridge the gap between PES and the real thing. The new game has undergone a stunning graphical update to ensure its players look and move even more like their real-life counterparts. Similarly, all-new options allow users to tailor the game to their own tastes, while new moves, innovative new control elements and key online elements will further the realism of the new game. Released 31/10/2008, available for pre-order now.

I'd ordered from Woolie's (http://hotukdeals.com/item/251035/pes-2009-playstation2-16-99-deliver/) but i've cancelled and ordered from Asda as it's cheaper. Plus woolies seemed to be in a spot of trouble in the stock market, i'll place my trust in Asda!

Bargain! (PS dont forget Quidco!)

Great deal, i have it preordered at shopto.net for£17.25. So will cancel and go with this deal.

Thank you for the heads up

Same price at] The Hut (same company - they supply for Asda) but I think Quidco is greater at the Hut (?5%). There's also a ]5% discount voucher for the Hut if you don't use Quidco. Extra Saving is only about 80p though (£15.13)

Quidco here is 5% at Asda for 'Gifts', not sure if this would qualify so i stuck on the safe side and said 2.5% (other products) so it may be the same. So the max saving is 40p over the Asda option. Well spotted though!

Alternatively pick it up instore on release date at Asda too.

PS you're welcome proevo21

very cheap for a new release footie game, even though it's last gen,(Misprice?) any chance anyone finding the PS3 version around this price?

I doubt it! Yeah, at least the price reflects the generation of console. Still very playable on the PS2. I've been playing the demos on my PC of FIFA and PES this year using my xbox 360 controllers! FIFA is certainly much better than when I used to play it. My biggest FIFA/PES dilemma yet. Heat added for great price for a good footie game! Although it did peak a few years ago so cheapest option is to buy the 2009 inlay on ebay or something lol

bargain for a new game, shame the ps2 is old now

Canceled The Woolies Order and Gone with This one as its cheaper, My trust is with asda

Actually find that Fifa is for kids. How do i know you play fifa? because the majority of posts like you made above or ones such as "Fifa Rules" are made by Fifa players.

PES has better gameplay , Fifa better graphics

i know id rather enjoy what i was playing than going "woooooooooooooo" when i get a closeup of rooneys face.

Fifas problem is that you can score guarenteed goals by exploiting glitches in the game. Cross, header, goal, ****

Got FIFA09 and PES 2009 demo on my pc and been using the 360 pad to play. I think FIFA has come a long way, but still not quite the free flowing gameplay. What's a shame is PES' gameplay useed to be miles ahead but instead of building, they just keep churning the game out with updated player names and a new face on the cover!

Think I'll buy PES for the xbox 360 when it's released mainly because I love to play fixed mode with the lads, it's pure emotion winning the champs league or world cup and you're one player each. Yes, sadly the first time we won it 2 out of the 4 had to watch the final because they got a 2nd booking leaving them suspended! How did they feel!

lol bring on the FIFA vs PES debate.
PES FTW

Haha it's usually not really a debate because people just make up their mind and just try to brag about their choice! FIFA is quite enjoyable but maybe it's me not knowing all the controls but the games just seemed to similar after a while and the goals got too easy. However, the mouse and keyboard mode for the PC FIFA09 is pretty fun! They're trying to do a Wii :-D It's a good attempt.
