Was looking for a walking shoe that could comfortably work on a more general day out too without looking out of place. This seems like a good deal for a classy understated waterproof trail shoe with good reviews at the best price I can find. P&P is £3.99 but if you buy 2 pairs it's free delivery.
"Keep your walk simple with this grippy leather walking shoe.
The Lindale is a reliable waterproof walking shoe with a full-grain leather upper and durable rubber outsole. It has a slightly shallower lug-depth which sacrifices some grip for speed. All-in-all a great 3-4 season hiker for our unpredictable climate.

You can always try it at home...
Yes I put it in the listing title. Usually it seems to me that 11 is the first size to go in a deal, so I'm happy for once...
If you want trendy, there's plenty of other options, I wanted a classic look
Buy a pair of TESCO /SAINSBURY etc trainers, and expect em to be cheap, at least in cost BUT give it a "NAME", and you can crank up the price.
Now I have no idea what the quality of the PETER STORM product was like when owned by Noel Bibby, an Ex Royal Marine, still you'd expect he'd know a thing or two about footwear BUT do you HONESTLY THINK JD (and co) could give a stuff? I doubt it.
Buy the "brand name" (as the Blacks Leisure Group did, in 1989) then expect it to be made on the cheap. Chuck into the mix JD CS, un god help us if it's Hermes (non) delivery and you could have a problem.
And finally, Sizing
Size 12? EU 46 or EU 47, if you take a size 12, you'd understand the dilemma
If you go for them, at least TRY and cover yer a ss, and pay via PayPal.
I think you're a bit confused, these aren't coming from JD for a start. Re. Quality, I went by the reviews not the name, I'm not really a brand person for most things.
JD took a controlling interest in Tiso some years ago, so no, not confused.
You make it sound as if my comment was a personal attack not so, just an honest observation based on MY dealings with the "Group", and its so called CS, again from its GROUP members, especially GO OUTDOORS
Most of the site Brands seem to have been snapped up by others, not sure how many there are actually are under the plethora of shop fronts, 4? Many of them barely disguise it either with identical pricing and store style etc. Effectively is just the logo for the home page swapped out with a different URL
I looked on different sites, I'd been searching for these based on liking them and what I'd found about them, and this was the best price, I hadn't seen the reviews here.
Something I noticed when I had a problem with a GO OUTDOORS purchase (I ended up going elsewhere) was the similarities in the sites, allowing for the different brands obviously and the same SIZING issues, where the size guides were the same, and so had the same error with size 12s, showing them as UK12 EU47, where as the size was actually a UK 46

TISO, and let's not forget

ALL part of the same "family", as for delivery, can anybody confirm who THIS offering would be via.
You certainly have to keep an open mind about some of them. I find it... interesting how many 5* reviews certain c**ppy companies seem to receive, often from people with only a few (if not only 1 or 2) reviews to their name. I'm thinking of (No trust in) Trustpilot for example. They seem to counter the negatives, thus maintaining its * rating.
My order seems to be being fulfilled by DPD
Cool, not being Hermes is a plus. I like the look of them BTW, and always appreciate the effort put in to post a deal, irrespective. I figure if just 1 person get something out of it, JOB DONE.
I put a question up on Amazon last night where they have good reviews, about longevity to see how people are getting on with longer term after your comment, so far 3 out of 3 are happy with them after a period of decent use. So I probably won't sell mine on when they arrive, but it hasn't been up long
