Coming back from weekend in Lake District I stopped to fill up in Whitehaven, real bargain there!

Would be nice to see diesel drop to less than £1. Still £1.19 near me.

Diesel 108.9 Milady Service Station GWR Glasgow .

This and pretty much all fuel 'deals' are going cold because everyone knows that fuel prices are dropping.

12p difference from petrol to diesel. that's a joke.

comment on why you vote cold

I vote cold whenever I see someone whinging about people voting cold, and how people should comment why even though they have no obligation to do so.

Hope that helps.

and why am i not obliged to comment any more than you

Awesome price. I wonder why this one store is so much cheaper than everywhere else?

A headline grabber. Diesel being sold for a normal price, petrol below that illustrious £1 barrier.

I see a lot of irritating comments on HUKD, but I think the idea is to vote on the deal not the comments.

pity gas bills never came down as quick as this.

Ta OP.

Likely a one off deal for the day at one forecourt.

ASDA and Morrisons have confirmed another 2p off per litre today...so looks like it'll be next week when we see it become national.

ASDA have announced a national cut to 103.7 for petrol and 110.7 for diesel on their blog.

Cut at asda by 2p from tomorrow

I got some over weekend but don't fill up anymore, partly because of the frequent price changes but also using less with a job move so less travel

And perhaps you should loosen your trousers a bit!

Petrol & Diesel is going the same way as Milk.

Soon it will be cheaper than Water.

The Supermarkets are ripping off the poor Oil Companies.

All that hard work by Fossils over the years amounting to nothing.

Blah, Blah, Blah................

As someone whose hometown is Whitehaven I can confirm it is indeed very white. And let's just say the BNP used to be quite popular there.

Well in that case, it’s good to know that many of the inhabitants there share a lack of intellectuality by voting for the BNP... but you’ve mentioned ‘used to’ so I’d be correct in assuming many have fallen victim to Nigel Farage’s avocation as a posh racist and the new face for the fascist and racist sentiment holding belligerents.

Government's way of discouraging diesel car ownership because they're recognising if not admitting that diesel fumes are more harmful to humans than petrol fumes.
