This is better, a car to buy. Too many times we are seeing prices for cars, then realising they are only leases and you have to give the car back after 2 years or something. But not this, this is the real deal.

It's nice to see a decent car that is not £20,000 as so many are these days. Good price for a car, heat added, I would give double heat if I could. When people realise that this is not a lease, I can see this going quadruple figures.
...more importantly what are 'follow me home headlights' and what if they don't...?
It's French, so wouldn't touch it with somebody else's - but a good price for something new I guess. I'd just take something older and not French.
If only this was a 3 year lease.......

Is there any scrappage scheme offers available with this?

I guess the scrapyard would give you at least £200 for this

Are these the last of the old model 208?
Either way, seem good value.

Hi,

Not on this offer, it's £9999 on stock cars only with no scrappage schemes etc.

It's French, so wouldn't touch it with somebody else's - but a good price for something new I guess. I'd just take something older and not French.

Peugeots are good cars, however I would never but one either but that's because to me everything inside is wrong, seats, switches, dials etc, they just don't look right to me, never have and I can't explain it...

I had this car for 3 years brand new in 2014/2017. It was a 1.2 petrol used to get 400miles to a tank. Was a great little car, Toyota engine and needed nothing done.

My ford Mondeos flywheel and clutch decided to eat itself and I got it for £149 a month. Was a fantastic little car.

Trying to give them away cheap now the much better designed 208 is out.

My driving instructor had one of these and I think it is brilliant andI passed the test from the first time 😁
This is the old shape which dates back to 2012. New one launched recently hence the deal.

Terrible gearboxes, can never get on with them.
If this is the same engine in the c1, it’s a 1.2 82bhp and was great around town so I imagine this will be the same. But such a small weak engine will be terrible on A roads and motorways.
10 grand... Hit the nearly new second hand market get a decent car for that

This is classed as nearly new as it's a Pre Reg.

Traction control on this, lolz

Requirements for getting a high NCAP score. For which the 2008 got 83% in the tests back in 2012.

Things have moved on since then though - the bar is much higher now.

Hold at yer hand. You've just bagged yerselff a bar-gin.
Talk about increasing the engine's CC's. You seen the size of him these days! Who ate all the pies?
I think I've got a good idea who.

The 108 (C1) with the puretech 1.2 82hp comes in at 915kg. This comes in at 960kg. So only half an average mans weight more.

Just have to give it a large dose of right foot to get you up to speed.

There's no mention of traction control on that page, just stability control, which is a good thing for the majority of drivers these days I'd say Funnily enough, my better half's Mk2 Prius has traction control but with the 1.5L engine and battery torque it's quite easy to spin leaving a damp junction

I reckon this is a belter of a deal if you don't do many motorway long distance miles.
£10k for a new car purchased outright!!?

You'll be hard pushed to find a car without both. They are very interlinked systems; it would be pointless to have one without the other. Usually the button to turn off traction control will also turn off stability control.

You could smoke the tyres all day in this thing if you wanted to (even in the dry), I don't see why having traction control is a bad/joke thing. Other than for trolling reasons of course.

My second car is a 1969 MG Midget with 64bhp, and with more tyre than it ever came with from the factory (or grip they could even dream of from such a narrow tyre back in the 60s), I can still literally burn the tyres off in 1st all day if I wanted (granted I could do it circles since it's RWD instead of FWD), this has nearly 30% more horsepower and 20% more torque.

It's handy to have for younger and/or inexperienced drivers - which a lot of people who buy these tend to be.
