Never in my life did I think I'd see/say this but you can't argue with JD power surveys, ranked the most reliable make last year.

Agreed... So go to someone like sainsburys loans (see example below) and pay outright for the car via the loan below.

Loan 22k over 60 months = £393.96 per month @ 2.9% APR and actually own it at the end

Rather like these although not spotted many on the road
Wish they had done a GTI estate.

Gonna be a challenge to match this power in anything else new for these spondooleys. Hot

Yep said it on the Citroen lease deal as well, French firms seem to hire brilliant designers, have a particular soft spot for the 508

Providing you have near perfect credit score it’s great. Much easier to get accepted on a loan which is secured against the car or pch. Not disputing the deal is great, however finance methods is an important factor.

Had a 308sw gt line for 4 years. Awesome car zero issues
If you can live with the standard paint then Drive The Deal are offering these brand new for £21,903.20.

Voted hot. Just looked at auto trader and the conclusion is cars are not selling, so many discounts everywhere...

Peugeot have been building nice hatches for a while that aren't quite as hot as others but are set up to be less compromised for the kind of roads we have to deal with in this country. I got tired of crashy riding cars long ago.

I don't think I would buy one but I can see the appeal compared to other slightly more outlandish rivals.
Scorchio!
I need it...

Autotrader is predominately used cars .Agree they are not selling due to owners dreaming about what they are worth.I constantly see the same cars on sale for months on end. Not sure what sellers are waiting for as used cars depreciate at a weekly rate...Famous words ...not in a rush to sell ...Yes wait 5 months when value is 800 quid less .
Tinted front windows are illegal

There was a nice Gt Line pre reg 306 for 13k. Pre reg Citroen C4 Spacetourer for under 13k. Mazda 2 1.5 for £9999 and mild hybrid for £11.5k (scrappage scheme tho).

I for one do not trust any study made by a company that profits handsomely from it. Prizes for the highest bidder

Far more relevant in my opinion would be the initial quality study, that shows the number of faults in the first 90 days. It just seems they don't do them in the UK unfortunately

The only time I'd ever purchase anything from this dealer would be for brand new.

You'd be better off buying second hand bog paper than buying a second hand car off these muppets.

Me too. Their current design language on the 508( in gt spec) is nice sight to be hold. The design team have earned their bonuses. I saw the estate version recently in black with tinted windows and larger alloys. It looked great.

The press release for the new 208gti looks stunning.
This is brilliant! Great on fuel for the performance but the pads and discs are very expensive to replace but shouldn't be a problem for a while.

For sure it's not a charity but have been providing the results of surveys for decades and widely published by car magazines, at least when I used to subscribe to them.many moons ago, things may have moved on since. Never rely on one survey either, look through owners reviews, recalls, long terms tests etc all info that is freely available.

Wowzers
What the Hell! I’m in the market for a new motor. This one looks like a cracking deal. Going to have to test drive it first
I'd have replaced my 208 GTi with one of these was more favourable on the finance front, but ended up in a Merc A Class instead. The 308 is a very nice drive and great cabin to sit in.

Don't believe all you hear about Peugeot reliability - my BMWs and Mercs have been more problematic than my Pugs!

Therein lies the problem - in terms of getting cars on the road. For all the talk of "well i buy my cars for cash", very few people actually do buy new cars for cash. Cars like this live or die on the (subsidised) finance deals the manufacturer can offer.
