Please shop responsibly. During the Covid-19 outbreak, we have been seeing a lot of community demand for basic household items. Please consider others and don’t stockpile - we all need to work together to ensure everyone gets what they need. If possible, perhaps offer to help older neighbours, family or friends by sourcing items for them.

I think these were £2.99 each, but Farmfoods are doing 4 packs of 240 for £10 working out at £2.50 per box.

Best buy date on mine is July 2021.

£2 off a £25 spend voucher available by registering on the Farmfoods site if you're buying other stuff.

My favourite and almost 1p per bag / large mug
HEAT from a big PG drinker.

This deal deserves over 1000 degrees, best deal of the day for me.
I find them weak compared to Typhoo or Tetley.

Me too, they reduced the tea in each bag and changed the blend in PG.

I stock up when Tetley are at £2.50 for 240 in Tesco

Good deal. I stopped buying PG when they reduced the tea per bag. Now I am a Clipper Tea man!

So weak now. Stick to Yorkshire tea or Tetley.
Great post heat added as they used to be 3 for a tenner
It's Yorkshire Tea only for me, tried PG and I was utterly disappointed - weaker than a kleptomaniacs alibi

To me, Asda own brand was better than the PG

Each to their own though

Leave it in for longer?
I agree that tea is a very personal taste. We don't like it that strong that you can stand a spoon up in it, but don't like it to taste like "gnats pee" either. We find PGTips strong enough to make 4 mugs from a teapot with 2 tea bags. Always "fluff" out the pyramid bag for better brewing.

Disgusting stuff.

I always do. Still no good. They are made with less tea in the bags now from a couple of years ago.
Remember to shop responsibly and stockpile while on offer.
Thanks

Or you could, as the first post suggests, "... perhaps offer to help older neighbours, family or friends by sourcing items for them"

PG were my go to till i bought 1100 from amazon and had to have 2 bags at a time, they are so weak now. Moved to tetleys and one bag does the job again.

Same here I like Yorkshire or tetley
PG tips much smoother cup of tea than most brands. No bitter after taste

I find Tetley 'too malty' and Typhoo is no better than PG imo. Sadly no branch of Farmfoods within walking distance of where I am.
Is this offer for 4 boxs of 240 bags = 960 bags or is it 4 boxs of 240 +50% = 360 and therefore 4 x 360 = 1440 bags?
Lovely tea and great offer , but recently I've noticed some tea bags are splitting. I thought I just ha a dud batch but happened on more than one box. Has anybody else noticed ?
Nothing like a good mug of Yorkshire tea

It's 4 X 240, so 960.
That's tomorrow's essential journey sorted

Typhoo and PG are identical weights I don't know where you get your information from but it is untrue, and a program I saw the other day from the PG factory disputes your blend story because they test each batch and dispose of any that do not come up to taste test. All tea blending is done on an available leaf basis and blended to match previous blends and taste from all the major brands so please don't come here with you false tales.
Cant believe people are drinking Typhoo and Tetley, might as well put the water and the milk in the mug and throw the tea bag in the bin.

Calm day LittleBoy, you'll give yourself a coronary getting so excited !

Firstly I never said Typhoo and PG aren't identical weights, try reading what I said ;-)
Secondly PG tips reduced the amount of tea in individual bags by 0.2g. FACT
The tea blend previosuly available is no longer available, so yes it has changed to a weaker one.

So don't come here with your false tales PGBoy
You need 2 bags for a one good cuppa. That's why its cheap.
Another typhoo 1p a bag here I usually keep around a years worth picking up any offer in bulk.
Also if I spot a brand on RFQS under 1p I will grab those

last couple of boxes have been the 240-4-£150 which is close enough to keep stock levels up.

problem is since lockdown the consumption has gone up a lot, more than double and need to stock up again soon.

One problem with the typhoo bags is they don't compost PG say theirs do so might give them a try.

With all brands avoid the one cup versions.

But you inferred that they lowered the weight making them inferior. 0.2 0g a gram is 0ne 3,500 th of a box of tea, great reduction that ruins the brew. The blend is different for every batch made up by the tea taster to match a given taste every time, and who was getting over excited giving facts?
