might sound silly but these catering bags dont contain the same amount of tea as the pg tips you buy in sainsburys, the supermarket pg tips weigh 4grams a bag whearas the catering ones only have 2g in. Not as good if you like your tea strong. Curiosity got the better of me.

Haven't voted.
I agree - they are as weak as 'typhoo one cup' which is the pits. I grew up on PGTips - but lately I've found I get a much better cuppa from Tetley, and a decent strength, too.

But your mileage may vary, so I haven't voted on that basis.

But subscribe and save sounds like Heron Books - there's arisk you'll have trouble cancelling - and why bother? Shop around, and you'll find similar prices elsewhere. Voted down on that basis.
hmm.. it works out cheaper @ ASDA
If you buy 240 pack x 2 = 480 Tea Bags

= £8

So thats about 1.7p per tea bag.
Hmm, we got 1640 tea bag bag at Costco for £17 something...
But S123 is right, it is different weight in catering bags.. Our says "1 cup tea bag", to say they are catering bags.
However I do think that the smaller tea bag is good enough if you are making 1 cuppa with it.. I personaly think that it is just right, you don't need to worry to leave it there for more then 20 secs otherwise your tea will be so strong you might as well drink coffee:-)
