Some other PHD on half price as well. Also For Goodness shakes down to 4.99

Sorry for the obvious comment but you could get 5kg of this for £40. A much better price than you can get anywhere else and a good brand.

Edit: Just buy 5 of these, sorry for the confusion

Where can you get 5kg for £40?
Bargain. Chocolate flavour is better but this isn't bad

Nice heads up. Heat. Does this taste better than myprotein stevia?

Depends what you are wanting from your protein powder, less calories per 100g than my protein but also less protein per 100g but depends what you want it for as to whether this is better or not!

Never tried the my protein one to compare sorry
This isn't something exclusive to PHD by any means ... But this industry practice of calling powders with lower Protein content, and higher sugar content "Diet" just baffles me!

Good point. Need more protein I guess being a vegetarian.

When made into a shake, this is a lot thicker than Myprotein whey so it depends what your preference is really! Texture wise I prefer these PhD ones.

From memory, I think the calorie content is pretty similar between this and myprotein diet whey but the PhD one has more protein and slightly lower fat.
I used this for my marathon training last year and myprotein this year. In my opinion the phd powder tastes far nicer, I used to think of it as a treat after a long run.
what's the expiry date?
Good deal, looks like amazon have dropped their price of the 2kg to match 2 of these. Handy for those with prime.

Are you saying Amazon’s 2kg version is £16? Your link doesn’t work and I can’t find it?

Different product to the one I posted that link is the synergy range

Higher than your typical WPC 80 + flavourings and sweeteners (typically 1-2g of carbs per serving...not sure exactly, but certainly less than in these "diet" products. I assume the "diet" label comes from the addition Green Tea etc, but I'd wager that your typical user would expect it to be somehow superior on a macronutrient level.

YES, someone else posted some other product. This is the same ;

68g of protein per 100g is petty low. It's not great for Diet. You could get MP standard version with 82g/100 which at the moment comes out a bit more expensive but waiting for 50% off might be worth it. Still a good deal but when you need 140g+ a day and on diet then it's a killer...
