Ah yes, "diet" whey at 110 kcal per 30g scoop sure does promote fat loss over that regular old whey at 121 kcal per 30g.

The fitness industry really is the modern equivalent of snake oil salesmen.

They usually do. Otherwise, reorder and return the unopened one on the previous receipt.

That's because it's "Diet Whey". It has other Wight loss-aiding ingredients in there as well. You can't get such high amounts of protein with added ingredients for a certain purpose. Just like with a weight gainer you wouldn't have high amounts of protein either. Having said that, it's better than the crap and fillers some powders have!

What green tea extract? That has pretty much zero calories. That's not the reason for for the lower protein content, the carbs are. If you want to lose weight you are better off with a standard whey protein like Myprotein lower carbs more protein

Caesin protein is better than whey as it keeps you full for longer. I like myprotein as well.

It's a meal replacement more than an after gym straight whey, like my protein. Think slimfast but less rip off.
Horriblel tasting stuff though. Bought after using Sci-Mx for years, I'd assumed PhD was a better product, shocked by how tasteless the flavours are.

That has no relevance whatsoever.
Thanks OP just got two choc mint ones.

But this is no good as a meal replacement because it's whey protein. Whey causes a insulin spike so you and up hungry very quickly
I will jump on the banwagon and say what I prefer...
I prefer protein Dynamix protein shakes however back in the day this was my first protein I used, loved it and great price

Steered clear of the tubs. Loads of complaints about broken security seals.

That's an "all in one" / "muscle gainer" - these are usually 50/60% carbs.

Could of saved 20% more with sub and save and another 15% if you add another 4 sub and save items 🤯
Best flavour? Need something like this for after football?
If people really knew how low quality whey protein actually is they would Saturday well clear. Yes it's protein nonetheless but, it's high in cholesterol, hard to break down and personally wouldn't touch anything with whey in again. Pea or hemp protein is a far cleaner protein with no hormonal crap that whey protein has. Yes the latter is more expensive and actually tastes no where near as good, but your body will thank you for it later down the line. But if I'll throw my two pennies worth in on the whey unused to buy, it was either myprotein or dymatize.
How much is delivery I can’t find it?
A lot of people seem to be missing the point here.

This is a high protein meal replacement formula shake.

You're supposed to have it instead of a regular meal, not as a post gym supplement. The low protein content is precisely so it can contain more fat and carbs, which yes, you need in a meal replacement. There's usually a heafty whack of fibre in there too so you can drop normal solid turds, which you won't be if you're taking "100%" whey shakes as meal replacements.

I disagree with you. Yes Whey has a little cholesterol so does hemp and pea protein. But it's HDL which is good cholesterol and will lower blood LDL. Personally I would use pea protein over hemp as it has a better amino acid profile.

5kg 82% protein for £49, that's £11.95 per kilo of pure protein including delivery

This PHDWhey pack is £12.48 per kilo of pure protein. So if you are happy with one of these flavours and you don't get through much and you have paid for amazon prime then this is a good deal but far from amazing. If you're looking something as a meal replacement shake and are not on a high protein diet then you'd be better off with something like huel uk.huel.com/

If you make shakes with fruit then Bulk Powders is even better at £10.48/kg unflavoured.

Then why do they market it as "diet" whey? Diet usually implies low calorie - what is low cal about this product?

I've never understood why a meal replacement would be needed other than a few times per year. What's wrong with eating real food?
