Found 7th Mar 2012
Just found sainsbury's got this 50% off, it's on their website so should be nationwide,.This is cheaper than anywhere else at the moment.

Not sure if they will accept the £1 off voucher though but worth a try, if they do then it's even better!!!

These are on 50% off offer as well-

Philadelphia 200g
Philadelphia Cheese Extra Light 200g
Philadelphia Mini Tub Light 140g
Philadelphia Light 200g
Philadelphia Light Cadburys Mini Tubs 120g

Enjoy!

Thanks to cazzap06

If they don't take the £1 off one I think you can get a 50p off coupon HERE ; philadelphia.co.uk/phi…612

So will make it just 28p

Thanks to Furny1978

Co-op and One Stop shop both have it for £1 as well, if no sainsbury's close to you.

that sounds rank!!!!!

It is!:|

Its not exactly the nicest stuff, nowhere near as good as Nutella. Its edible and vaguely chocolatey but thats about as good as i can say for it!

its cheese and chocolate..

i rest my case!!!!

Those who have tried this are not getting the point, this is primarily cheese (+50%) and only about 20% chocolate so you cannot compare this to something like Nutella! In my opinion they go well together and i will be partaking in this offer!

I think I'd rather get normal Philadelphia and make a chocolate cheesecake

its immense spread on a digestive, yum yum yum......hot from me

thanks...

Remember also, this is almost half the calories and a third of the fat of Nutella...if that's important to you. I may just give it a whirl at this price (...be interested to see if anyone combines the voucher successfully).

Exactly, 2 ingredients and chocolate cheesecake Done!

heart attack in a tub lol

It is basically chocolate cheesecake topping in a tub. I was a bit dissapointed it was not more cheesy but I guess philadelphia has such a light taste anyway it wasn't going to take much to overpower it.

You like Cheese? You like Chocolate?. Here's Cheesychocolate!

Not as nice as CheesyPeas but easier to source! :-)

Just a note that the £1 voucher mentioned in the OP was from their Facebook page, but it is no longer available - so only applicable if you already had one.

Good deal. Just bought this from Sainsbury last night for £1.60 - mug!

BTW it's actually quite nice, slap it on a digestive and you've got a mini choc-cheesecake.

Sounds horrendous to me and the only cheesecake I like is a proper baked one but I may be wrong and you gotta try it at this price.

Really want to try this but only got a Tesco nearby and although there's a space on the shelf for it, they have never had any ON the shelf in the last 5+ times I've checked!!

cheese and chocolate, which genius gets paid thousands to think of freek food!!!

It's a combination that has been around for decades...

Thanks OP - Been waiting to try this & is a FAB price! xx

personally I love it so a hot from me, thanks

Why?

Hi, You might find that the £1 voucher works with the 78p philadelphia in Sainsburys, as long as you are buying other items, in other words make sure you spend more than a pound and if all else fails, keep talking to the cashier and they might not notice! Sometimes works.

suddenly diabetus

the missus bought some, reminds me of the stuff from choc dips

This is sooo nice!

Do none of you understand the significance of this product? It's a shame if you don't- a really bad one if you're British.

It's basically a big F-You to the UK whereby Kraft is showing the Cadbury/Kraft union through two popular brands in the form of what is ironically a truly sickly product.

It's the rape of a brand and a company once known as Cadury.

I saw this for sale in Germany when I was there last year (well, over there it's Milka and Philadelphia) and did wonder when it was going to make it's way over here! I'd be keen to try it, purely out of morbid curiosity!
