Thought I would post this as a few people seem to have been buying the trilogy for over a tenner @ Amazon. The best price is actually at the Book People - £6.99 for all three books. Use the code 169A to get free delivery.

Thanks dancrawley,
I have ordered them from the red house.
Cheers

Some of the best books i've ever read. Heat an Rep added.

Shame they never have much stock of the popular books. I don't know why they don't remove them from the site when they sell out, as they never get any more in.

Heat added anyway. I ordered mine from Amazon before Xmas when they were around £11.

paid £12 from amazon about last week

The Book People Limited is a company registered in England with the company number 2290665. Registered address: The Book People Limited, Catteshall Manor, Catteshall Lane, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1UU. VAT Number: 664509028

Red House is a trading name of Catteshall Limited, a company registered in England with the company number 004456246. Registered address: Catteshall Limited, Catteshall Manor, Catteshall Lane, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1UU. VAT Number: 794080705

Notice the same business address so these have the same parent company. So dont think of them as two completely different competitors as although in one hand they are competing for like with like sales they dont really care which of their company's gets the sale as long as one of them gets it for Catteshall Limited. I expect put dont want to speculate the book people have seen how popular this item is at the price they are selling it for and so have set the site to out of stock where all customers will direct their attention to finding an alternative seller i.e. Red House Books and £2.00 + per sale!!!! Both companies have the same distribution address to which makes me even more angry. Books can leave the same place but at very different prices. Some you win, some you lose!

Same goes for likes of Curry's and PC World - selling the same products usually the same prices and so customers think the price the two company's are selling the product for is the price to pay, when in fact since they are "children" of the same parent company - DSGI plc the prices are set the same to trap customers into thinking this price is what i have to pay because two business are selling for the same price.

This parent and children approach to business is a complete con to customers when the same products are being sold and so consumers should look out! With the likes of Arcadia who is the parent company for Burtons, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, OUTFIT, Topshop, Topman and Wallis - at least they all sell a different range of clothing and not identical products.

the end.... "investments"

doesn't one have free delivery and the other doesn't (if you ignore the voucher) ?

there's a third 'sister' company called schoollink where it's also £8.99

hopefully that'll be of use if Redhouse sell out too!
