why is this showing minus???

-86% and no one gives a reason....poor show...personally I think its something to do with the Argos deescription "multimedia drive" but looking at the link....its just an external.....perhaps if the OP gave us an idea why they thought it was a "great" deal

Just looks like a regular external HDD...and a poor value one at that.

Cold.

Well assuming this is portable hard drive by looking at the size of it, the price is infact not that bad but you can get 160gb portable hard drive cheaper than than this and personally if i needed a portable hard drive i would pay the extra £5 and get a western digital my passport 250gb which is smaller and you know that it has got a good drive in it, who know what drive this philips has in it.

if its just an external drive , you can get a 500gb for around £50 quid, or 1000gb for £80, making this a poor deal.

look at the dimensions of it, that has to be a portable drive, so not a chance you could get 500gb for that price but the deal is still not that good.

I got a laptop HDD for £45 (300gb) and an eclosure for £5. = 300gb portable for £50. This is a poor deal.

hot from me, cheers
