I didn't plan to add any speakers so need decent sound.

It has Freeview Play, so all of the UK catch-up apps will be available.

Fair enough. It's just that many of the Amazon reviews also state that these apps are missing. (Along with the product description stating the same too).

Like a lot of Philips TV's it probably just need an update and reset.
