For anyone asking the same question, from the Argos page:

"Is this a SMART tv

Hello there,

This is not a Smart TV, and does not support any Smart features like apps etc.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A"

EDIT:
Not wanting to bash the deal @MrSwitch as this is a good price for this tv (not including refurbs) but when you can get a 4K Smart 43" Hisense with a 5 year warranty for £299 or even a 4K Smart 50" Hisense from Amazon for £299 this doesn't seem like a sensible purchase right now. I still think one of the best deals around for anyone just wanting a big 4K smart tv is the 49" 4K on Panasonic outlet on eBay for £179.99, they seem to release half a dozen almost daily so you do have to be quick. Yes it's a refurb but you get a one year manufacturer’s warranty which tbh is as good as you get on a lot of new tvs these days anyway. I picked one up last week for my sister who was amazed at the picture quality having never had a 4K tv before. Out of the box it does need a bit of tweaking but after about 10 minutes I was pretty impressed with the picture quality and for under £180 I think you'll struggle to find more bang for your buck anywhere, just my 2 cents peace

If you click through or buy, retailers may pay hotukdeals some money, but this never affects which deals get posted. Find more info in our FAQs and About Us page.

A 4k tv is only better if you watch 4k content or it's a large 55inch plus. If you are watching sd tv then it will look better on a 1080p tv than a 4k one. now tv is 720p. Netflix I think has 48 shows in true 4k. I have no Idea what amazon has. So 4k is still pretty much pointless until more true 4k content comes to market. Not saying the Panasonic deal is bad (Its great) just that 4k should not be bought because its 4k and only if you have the devices to support it.
