Great prices on both sizes here. I was surprised to the the 55" at £349, mainly because that's the same price that the 50" is at the moment. There's really not a lot to complain about for the cash on either size TV. The base specs are below for quick ref

Both sizes are on the same link

Just wanted to mention an alternative for anyone interested for the 43" model via Richer Sounds. £20 more but with 6 years warranty.

Think that's £20 more, but still worth consideration depending what you want to spend. Thanks!

Yeah sorry made a typo. Corrected.

But yes for the extra £20 it is always worth considering the extra 4 years warranty.

You can get Samsung or LG for similar price so what's the benefit of getting rebadged Philips? I don't think these have ambilight or whatever its called?

But how much is their warranty really worth?

Well it's worth the extra £20 surely for this:

We believe our 6 Year TV & Projector Guarantee is the most comprehensive guarantee out there. There are no third party insurance agents involved, no complicated claim schemes.

We’ll cover your TV or projector for 6 years full parts and labour
Collect and return your TV [if it’s 39" or over].
Give you a like-for-like replacement if we can’t repair it.
Give you a 45-day cooling off period. If you have a change of heart, you will get a full refund of your guarantee - no questions asked.*
