I think for me it's this or the hisense 7500. I can't work out which has the better screen though.
My niece had a Hisense and said it was awful and sent it sraight back, Sorry dont know what model shehad.

My son has this tv and I have the 55ins version, we both LOVE it

Do the smart apps work OK on it? I saw some people saying they didn't work well.

I'd opt for the hisense
These TV's are bugged. Because I had opened mine from AO and used it - the only way to find out how broke the software was, they said I could only get 90% refund unless i call Philips and they say it was bust.

I jumped through all kinda hoops, on hold for 4 hours over about 3 calls. I was then given files for the wrong TV to rebuild the OS then I called and got the right ones.

I thought everything was fine and working then last night Freeview plus, Iplayer and my5 stopped working. Luckily i got it as a TV for my PC and the picture is good for the price and the ambilight is cool, but you should not expect the issues i have ahad with a new TV over a week. And looking back at forums for help I am not the only one. AVOID.

Why do they sell them in such a broken state software wise! Don't see the point in buying some tv's when parts of them don't work properly.

That's really annoying. I guess it's okay if you use an android box or something, but you shouldn't have to.

Yes exactly my point. You wouldn't buy a car where only certain things worked on it! At least the LG and Samsung tv's the software is better.
In hindsight i would have got the Samsung 7100 which I did in the end, as I bought 2 of these one for me and one for my parents. mine was so bad i told them not to open the box. even after fixing it i thought they have no chance fixing it during the lockdown and then it broke a little last night so send back to AO was the best for their TV AO gave a full refund for theirs as soon as it was picked up. 2 days later the samsung was on here for £5 more. i definitely feel like i do not have the full product but its in the den with loads of consoles, a PC and an android box hanging off it. So not sending back to lose £30 then the hassle of getting another TV set up. And although happy with what I need from it in a way i would not recommend anyone getting a Philips. I have a hisense which is a much better TV and two Samsungs which are on another level again. Philip has sold out. I have a toaster and kettle by Phillips that are nearly 20 years old.
I bought this TV last week, and can't get Chromecast sound to work. Anyone else had that?

Otherwise I found the TV great in all other areas
