Had this TV tracked on 3Cammels and it surpassed the price point that I had marked. It looks a great deal for the spec. It's also well reviewed at it's original price point.

I'll look forward to receiving this TV as I have seen enough of your posts praising ambient light.

Enjoy....

This Philips 43 Inch 4K Ultra HD TV comes with Android smart TV and the Philips P5 picture processing engine. Philips unique Ambilight technology makes your viewing experience more immersive by emitting a wide glow from three sides of your TV screen onto the wall. Colour and excitement move beyond the screen. Ultra HD has four times the resolution of standard Full HD, this gives sharper, crisper, more detailed images, and with HDR Plus enjoy improved colour and contrast. The P5 Perfect picture engine is the latest 5-in-1 processing engine and optimises sharpness, colour, contrast and motion. Android TV with a quad core processor allows you to go beyond traditional TV programming with the Google Play Store and Philips App Gallery. Experience endless movies, TV, music, apps and games online. With Google Assistant built in you can control the TV with your voice. Please note ITV Hub, ALL4 and Demand 5 UK catch-up apps are not directly available on this tv. 20 W RMS sound output giving deep bass, clear dialogue and amazing accuracy. Wide connectivity options for all your devices: 4x HDMI, 2x USB, Wi-Fi, Antenna, Satellite connector, CI+, Digital optical out, Headphone socket. For added peace of mind all Philips TVs come with a two-year warranty included.

I've never been told to amend someone else's deal before. That's a new one for me!
Can't see the edit button, plus I asked the mod to change it to 50" and £450

I've also expired this deal though it's still apparently alive

No, it was this one;

samsung.com/uk/…XU/

A few places were doing it, a few months ago on here.

I know it’s not the very top spec Samsung, and that nobody has invented a time machine yet, but £469 for a 43” ‘Philips’ is a joke, can’t believe how many people are being sucked in by them at the moment.

Get over your 'opinon' on Philips and leave the facts to speak. If you're not interested in Philips TV's why keep posting rubbish in every thread about Philips TVs??? Vote hot/cold and leave it at that

We all have lots of 'opinions' on things....doesn't mean we're all right for example I like white and silver cars but that doesn't make me right. That's why others unlike you it seems consider the facts

It's not solely an opinion.

£469 is too much money for a 43" TV in general, fact, but I accept that some high end brands can get away with charging it, Philips are not a high end brand by any stretch of the imagination.

I don't have any revenge to exact on Philips, their toothbrushes are pretty good, but yes, I am irritated by so many people overpaying for their budget TVs.
Anyone know if this a decent TV? Looking at the 50inch for £450

Yeah I’m struggling with this. I like Hue and the kids would love Ambilight. But these are midrange panels.
I’ve heard great things about their top of the range OLED etc which of course is an LG panel anyway but at that cost I’d buy the Samsung QLED for the high brightness (we view more in light room requiring bright screen than dark room requiring blacker blacks).

Just wish the Samsung QLED wasn’t SO expensive.

Hence the reason in FREEZING, the 50 inch is a better deal. Amending it would have been easier! Lmao!

Without wishing to question/insult your intelligence...how would I be able to amend the OPs deal?
This was £400 a few days ago, which IMO should be its list price. If you can find it for around the £400 mark it makes an excellent bedroom TV with it's ambilight and Android TV OS.

Be ware of certain Philips models coming with their own OS which "borrows" some UI elements from Android, but doesn't have the same level of app support Android has.

This model comes with a nifty bluetooth remote with a keyboard on the back, remains to be seen how long the batteries last on it but it's a nice thing to find in the box.

Mabbs was in this conversation too. Couldn’t be bothered to multi-quote. He took the edit advice, but had issues. You could have posted your own deal as no where does it say you couldn’t post another size as a different deal. People post same price games from different retailers. Most have seen 43inches and voted cold as it did not mention 50 inches. That’s what l was trying to say in as few words as possible. Don’t have the time but I have made some for you.(y)
