As long as you're charged a premium to watch in HD then the answer is 'yes & for a long time to come'!
Very poor on dbv-t HD channels, I wish I hadn’t bought the 55 inch version

Is this the 2018 or 2019 version?

I’m after the 65” so keeping my eye on the Amazon price for 65PUS7304

It sure if they do a proper 100hz in the ambilight for around £1k

Since broadcast TV is still popular, and mainly SD, I'd say most people still watch a lot standard definition.

Yes, but it's not going to be any good.

What won't be good about it?
I have the 55pus7303 which is basically the same but bigger with no soundbar and the picture quality is excellent. HDR/HDR10 is awesome and for the price it's a great TV.
Bought Samsung for £50 more and happy

Which one??
I have the 65pus7303 and the HD picture is good; 4K picture is superb; HDR is really good; SD is very poor (but the same for most 4k tv’s I understand); ambilight is superb and integrates with my hue set up in the lounge; sound is good (not amazing but good for a tv); remote is average but no backlight and print on keys hard to see when light is low; TV guide average (a bit slow at times and no image when using); Android appears ok and there’s just been an update. Got mine for £749 Boxing Day last year. It’s a decent stop gap till I can justify dropping £2k+ on a 65” OLED.
Less than 400 quid for a 49 inch hdr tv with 3 sided ambilight and 5 year warranty is an absolute steal. Heat added.
out of stock :((
Is this not instore?
