On the market for TV for the kids Christmas and have £70 Argos gift vouchers to use. Very tempted by this and in stock at my nearest Argos 5 mins along the road but wasn’t really wanting to go above 43”. Ah, dunno...

Very nice deal especially as if you don't need the sound bar you should easily get £50 to £80 for it knocking the price down even further.
would personally prefer an android TV as I am using Google home at the moment but this is good for those that are not invested in that.

Would love the ambilight, this is a great price, pity the tv hasn't Freesat built in, needing that. Has this got free to air sat connector?

I am a big fan of hisense TVs as I have the m7000 at the moment and it is lovely, almost all issues are livable just one thing that I can't deal with, the only hdmi port that is arc is not 4k 60hz only 30hz so I have to run an extra wire between TV and amp to get sound when watching broadcast TV or using built in apps.

Having an ambilight in the bedroom my living room setup is jealous and the lights in my living room would be perfect candidates for a full ambilight and hue set up.

Just trying to convince myself that I can live with it for another year or so and that I don't need an oled as I feel that to really see the upgrade in picture quality I will have to spend a fortune.

I'm visually impaired and tbh I can't tell the difference in picture quality on most tvs.
I bought this because it's a bigger screen which is perfect for me (although more often than not I listen to the TV than actually watch it).
I'm so glad I have purchased it. I'm extremely happy with it.
this should go really hot its a bargain even without sound bar and ambilight, the picture quality is up there with top end led tvs great VA panel , it has main apps you need and very easy to use even my elderly parents find it easy to use.

also the tv decodes Dolby d DTS and ATMOS so should work well with the included sound bar out of the box just plug and play no settings

hot

even dolby atmos from 4 k blu rays will sound better even on the tv speakers i tested on karate kid sounded great with nice clear dialog so outputting to the soundbar in pcm stereo should work nice

Philips is only Android on the 7-series and up. The 6-series (this TV) uses Saphi.
Purchased the 7334 version with a 55" panel for £474 from Curry's ebay last week. Didn't come with a soundbar though although the TV has dolby Atmos and the soundbar supplied with this offer does not.
Good deal though either way!
If anyone's looking for a slightly better TV.. skip this and the lower end ones and spend the tiny bit more on this Hisense.. has 100hz refresh, four HDMI, Atmos built in and should make a massive difference! At £599 with a six year warranty if you sign up to their VIP emails and from the sound of the speakers you'll only need an Atmos device if you really want cinema style sounds..

I like the spec of this seems to good be true why has it not been posted I can't stand watching fast action movies on my TV find it hard to follow.

Does the 100hz really work or is a fake software motion smoothing soap opera bs?

It's definitely 100hz, Richer always state it precisely. I've got a "200hz" Samsung 1080p active 3D model.. however it's 100hz in real terms as they stated on their site.

Richer always do a decent deal on prices.. it's the same price elsewhere but their 6 year warranty wins every time. Plus they'll let you check the TV out if you call in advance assuming they don't already have it on display I don't work for them or owt, just find it hard to watch everyone buying half effort "4k" which really doesn't look half as good. Got a Toshiba 4k prior and compared to the Samsung the picture was barely twice as good on average 1080p which leads me to truly believe a proper spec telly like this has to be more than worth the extra couple hundred pounds.. especially adding the extra peace of mind that'd likely cost a lot more outside J.L. and Richer..
Really want to get this but anyone know if this will go down anymore?
Got one coming Monday thanks 🏻 our tv is in its way out so this will do nicely.

This link might help but it’s saying there is no mention of built-in Alexa for this model! So hopefully someone on here who owns this TV can confirm that!

Yes it does
Just had this delivered.
Spent ages cleaning the sticker residue off of the bezel. Normally peel the see through stickers off and it's nice and shiny clean underneath. Not this time

Where from and how much please
I'll going to get this deal tomorrow and keep it boxed till after black Friday just incase any other deals beat this one lol
Killer deal! but the lack of Bluetooth on this TV is the only downer for me.
I've got the 75" version of this and I love it, the ambilight genuinely expands the picture further whether it's tv, movies or gaming.
Which is the better TV? Thanks

I bought this TV last year (or last year's model) it was great for 15 months then the back lights went out and all I could hear was the TV program. So make sure you get 3 or 4 years insurance/cover for the additional £100 as these TV's will break down and the Argos 12 month warranty will most likely be useless. Otherwise it's a good TV.
