Should state New Accounts in title

I have put the non account price as £30 cheaper than available anywhere, I have also put 10% further available discount with details. A bargain or a better bargain. The 10% offer does not make the bargain - the non additional 10% price does. I’ve covered both grounds.

I thought it was £404.99 and then there was ANOTHER 10% discount available to make it £360. I read the title completely wrong.

Me too lol

My head is getting battered with all these TV deals! Haha.

I keep seeing 4k TVs with HDR but then people say the HDR is crap on them. Any ideas on this one for gaming and watching 4k content etc. Just in work or I'd research myself 🤣

But the problem is... to get a 10% off you need to apply for credit. That mean credit search & record on your file.

Too many searches negatively affect your credit score. Specially not good if your planning to apply for loan/mortgage or credit card.

Slightly misleading title.

I got the 55pus6401 model of Philips TV. It's a great TV, pretty good picture was average colours and pretty poor audio.

My TV is also buggy, would sometimes change picture settings (from gaming to something else after an hour).
Also has had turned it's self on after shutting it off. Amibi lights don't shut off with the TV all the time etc.

Philips are known for cheap Indian made TV sets with their logo printed on them.
The customer service is pretty poor as well. Spent 3 weeks being told to reset the TV, power down and power on again. No word on a repair being done etc.

I paid £450 for my 55", I love the TV as 4k content is great and HDR is mind blowing when you get a quality source (life of pi).
But seeing as LG and Samsung have some 4k 55" curved for under £600 now. I do feel a little disappointed in my purchase.

Bargain , pay monthly , Great deal , marvelous price - I want one right now - . . . oh my old telly won't fit in the wheely bin!

Thanks for the reply. That's helps, maybe I should keep looking as I do want to be wow'd with amazing colours/picture. Those technical issues sound a nightmare!

Have you updated the tv via Wi-fi ?

If so I’d be right on to the retailer, Argos ? You may get a replacement of current stock.

Mine was buggy but the software updates up to Android TV 6.0 and the recent released 7.0, it’s flawless now

Donate it to somewhere

Works out at £456.98 for existing account holders.Very is hit and miss customer service wise.Took me 5montjs to get £30 credit back, in the end I had to phone the Liverpool credit dept to get issue sorted.

"Cheaper than Argos" doesn't mean much nowadays.

What happened to 3 sided ambilight ! Spectra 3 is so much better !

Pay the top dolla you get top Ambi... if you weren’t breast fed you would know it

Sorry to spoil the party, but it looks like Very may have screwed up their webpage. The question is: will they honour the price anyway?

When you follow the link to the Very site, it does indeed show the description as "Philips 50PUS6262 50 Inch, 4K Ultra HD Certified HDR, Smart TV, Freeview HD, Freeview Play and Ambilight". However, if you click on 'View product information' and then onto 'Technical Specification', the description is "Philips 43PFS4112 4000 Series - 43" LED TV" (which is only Full HD).

The 'correct' Very page for the Philips 55PUS6262 shows the price as £549.

Just checked and there is a new update. So will throw that on it.

My main issue I had is some YouTube videos would just be a bunch of lines and audio.

As you can see on my tweet a while back. The rest of the issues don't bother me as much.

From what I read you get the quality based on the budget. At a £450 TV I'd expect to get a decent but not amazing image. The 4k on the TV is great, but the high and lows of Colorado depth is good but not ground breaking.

Audio is the biggest weakness to the TV. The amibilight is a great feature, easy on the eyes. Helps remove the square box of the TV bezzle.

But if I knew a good brand TV would come down in price I would've gone for that.
Android TV is a must for a smart TV. My old LG TV had a pathetic smart feature.

I have the 55PUS6272. Same model but with 3 way ambilight. It's a decent TV for the money. I've had no issues. Ambilight is cool.
For some reason my model doesn't appear on the Argos website unless you type the exact model number in.

You'll never be wowed for this amount of money.

I really like the Ambilight feature. To me it makes the experience more immersive. I enjoyed it so much that I bought a second one of these for upstairs when it was on offer again.

I agree that it is buggy sometimes, and the software isn't the fastest in the world, but for the money I think these are good TVs.

Yes, it's this sort of thing that attracts me to Ambilight. Thanks for the info.

Should do, latest firmware is Android TV 7 so any niggles in the updates over 2016 to 6.0 updates should have been ironed out. I have not used YT since my 7 update the other day, but the last 6 update stability was back to perfect working order.

If ordering another from Very arrange collection first then order, they should allow it, if not call and ask for limit rise as they will see why you are asking
