Seems a good price though it would only apply with a 10% off code for the Minecraft Xbox cancellation.

Free in store collection from Argos or delivery add £3.95.

ugh - just post the code!
may as well list the entire argos catalogue with 10% off otherwise.

Pretty sure each code is unique. Just looking for an opinion on whether this is a decent tv for the cash, fully expecting it to go colder than a hug from my mother in law due to it being available at the price stated to only a small number of people.
But is it a good tv?

That's the sort of thing I'm wondering. I couldn't find an actual review of this tv apart from the argos buyers.
Ignoring the discount is £500 for a 50inch 4k TV with HDR good, bad or average? Genuine question, a similar sized Sony bravia is almost £700 but is that a far superior thing?
No particular views on the tv, however Argos usually have a 10% tv code about once a month (spend is usually £499), not sure when your 10% code expires but believe it could be used with the tv code to give a greater saving, providing they dont hike the prices.
Why are we posting prices with a discount few got because they bought an item speculatively?

OK very helpful thank you, mine expires 16/10 and as it's essentially a gift card I see no reason why I couldn't apply it on top. Thanks.

Purely for opinion, as I said above even disregarding the discount that will apply to only a few is £499 for a tv of this spec good, bad or average? My comparison was a 49" Sony bravia at almost £700 so wondered if this was already at a decent price?

maybe head for HOTUKTV Forums. Not really the method to source reviews of the product. the internet in general should be good for that though.

Fair enough, I was just going to post it on the other generic 10% off thread but couldn't get the link to post. Tried Google but couldn't find any reviews on this set in particular.
Use the Ask section next that, that's what it's for.

No reviews yet, but going by last year's model this should be a decent entry level TV if you don't watch any SD channels. There'll be very little in the way of HDR support of course, but that goes for everything at this price.
