No itv C4 or 5 catch up apps though (I got the 43" version without realising that). Not sure why Philips thinks that it's ok to release a "smart" TV without them.

Thanks, TV was already updated and you are correct that My5 is now available (it wasn't before). However, whilst the ITV app is on the app store, it doesn't open as it says that Phillips haven't paid for the rights to use the app... and the All4 app isn't there at all.

I believe that you can get access to itv and all4 through freeview play? Read it on another thread. Which is part of an update late last year

Freeview play doesn't appear to work and neither do any of the data Freeview channels (eg now 90s) that work fine on our Samsung TV. Have you a link to the thread?
