No, this one hasn't been out long enough. I think my Philips PUS6753 is great, I prefer it to my main Samsung TV.

Me too! I’ve had Philips Ambilight tv’s for over 7 years and couldn’t buy another brand! If my tv stopped working, I’d still buy another Philips
I wonder if they have fixed the lip-sync? It's ludicrously bad on our 7303 to the point where you could imagine the audio is from a different channel to the video. There's lots of other ridiculous bugs. It has a superb picture, and it has many nice features, but there are so many problems that I would not recommend Philips TVs. If they pulled out their finger, and provided a firmware that fixed the problems, I might change my mind - are you listening Philips?
I was after the 55" or above
7303 was a joke eventually returned mine within a year of buying, nothing but issues

Same here. Once you've gone Ambilight there's no going back to ordinary TVs!

And you can bet your house on the fact that if they were allowed every other TV brand would be including it on their sets. A simply brilliant innovation thankfully being made available on sets further down the price range thanks to Philips TV divisions new owners.

i think its luck of the draw with them. i had 2 2017 6000 series and had unbelievable problems with both of them, took them both back after 6mths and upgraded to a 2018 6000 series and the 7303. only 'problem' i have with the 7303 is that it may drop wifi connection maybe once a mth. can live with that tho. the 2018 6000 series has been sweet and problem free

Had my 7303 for over a year now, no problems so far. All I would say is if your after amazing Hdr, your not getting it at this price point.
What's the difference between the 7303 and the 7343?

If you mean 7304 and 7343 then;

7304 = 2019 model (xxx4)
7343 = 2018 model (xxx3)
What is a better deal ?
50 inch at this price or the 65 inch at 861£?

Will upgrade again in 2/3 years, if I take 50 inch can just move that to the bedroom from living room,if I take 65 inch will need to sell It in 2/3 years when I upgrade.

No idea what will be easier to sell in 2/3 years the 65 inch or 50 ?
Taking into consideration the estimated value in 2/3 years if kept in good condition.

Not much experience with TVs, any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

Sorry, you were right in the correction. My mistake, I wanted to ask between 7304 and 7354.
I’m going to buy this today unless there is a better tv out there for similar price point, I can push to 500 if needed.

If anyone thinks I can get a better tv let me know, this looks like a great deal & I love the backlight function
Ready to order a new telly, this or the LG 60" recommended recently for a similar price point ? argos.co.uk/pro…JUN

Not sure what best to get. We have a 10yr old Samsung so anything will be a massive upgrade, and not really too worried about size as anything will seem big as current is 40 or 42' I think.

This seems like a good deal, it’s 10 inches bigger for an extra 70 pounds,

Which Tv is better? The LG you linked or this one ? If they were the same screen size ?
Will the Philips be cheaper on Black Friday ? I can’t imagine they can beat this 459 price point even on Black Friday ?

No idea, I imagine the Philips is a better quality panel and potentially a newer model, albeit 10" smaller. I think 50" might be more than ample size wise for us, so if the LG isnt quite a good a quality screen then I'll go for the Philips but would appreciate an expert view on it
For anybody that has an Ambiligh TVt, will it connect to the Hue Bridge and therefore extend the ambilight experience to sync other Hue bulbs?

I’ve got a couple of Hue bulbs that are on wall lights, either side of where the TV will go

Yeah. I only have the round ones and I'm stuck with picking one colour like a peasant.
