Not going to be everyones idea of a bargain especially with the code but ive used over 60 5 off vouchers over there catalogues and never had 1 taken back.

its usually say the £30 off codes that get put back on your billor any money off codes not the percentage codes

please explain why cold? you wont be able to find this cheaper even if you didnt use the 15 percent off code next cheapest ive seen is £1200

If someone uses a 15% code...
one or two years down the line there will be a bill awaiting from very littlewoods....
I've never seen such a company who promotes the codes in forums like here and later collect the money from them. I would avoid using any codes for these companies.

Have not voted....

ive used many over the years and like i said i have ever had one re charged to me. and also its cheaper than anywhere i can find without the code.

without code and going through quidco total would be £910

Never had a problem with Littlewoods codes .......and to be honest if i was in the market for a large screen LCD i would jump at this Philips at this price.........Have some Heat.........

Surely though the point is this company runs its promotions in a way that totally goes against the customer. Whether or not you've ever had a voucher taken back months after the fact of not, they are within their rights to reclaim that money at virtually any point for more-or-less any reason they feel like it. Why on earth would you want to do business with a company like that, why would you want to encourage such dodgy business practices?

That's why I voted cold, for me a deal is about the product, the price AND the company. Any deal that involves Very / Littlewoods is an automatic cold for their business practices, sorry.

I f the code is not on quidco now they will not pay out on that code it says this on their site

I voted cold as they are a pain in ????

i recently ordered from very

i used a code and got £30 off

the took the full amount then refunded the £30 the same day

worked for me

if someone out there wanted this tv why would they go and spend upwards of £1200 elsewhere? and id do business with them because there are the cheapest at the minute for this tv

You can get this tv with no codes for £999

or with quidco £910

please show me where it is cheaper than any of the above 2 prices if you cant then you surely cant vote it cold?

if anyone out there wants to take the risk of using the code and if they dont have in recharged then your getting a hell of a bargian at £780 for this through the code and quidco.

Again, I repeat, a deal is NOT just about the price for me, it's about price, product and company. It's like saying 'oh, but you can get this item for £500 less than anywhere else off this ebay seller. Sure he's only got 3% positive reviews but it's so CHEAP!'. If the company is dodgy then why would you risk your money? I'd far rather pay a little more and get this from a reputable comapny that isn't trying to rip off its customers.

Edit - coincidentaly I'm going to stop explaining why I vote cold. Every time I do someone jumps on my back about how I'm wrong to do so, although at least in this case there isn't the usual personal attacks.

The link needs changing anyway as it takes you to the 32" version

+1:thumbsup:

It's unavailable, out of stock. It's clearly a misprice as the 42" is the same price £999.

Don't ruin your holidays, by having unnecessary financial shocks -

Quidco will almost certainly not pay out if you use a voucher code that's not listed on their website.

Littlewoods may well charge you for any voucher reductions months later, even if they deducted the amount, credited the discount, only to wait months before suddenly charging you for the discount again. What happens in the here and now does not mean the matter is final.

Unless you are using a prepaid card that you will discontinue and are moving overseas permanently, expect either your debit or credit card to be charged, or for a demand for the voucher discount amount to be claimed, alongside inflated costs, by the Littlewoods group who will happily pursue you through the courts until paid.

If you are happy with the risks, or will become untraceable from Littlewoods, or have personally been given any voucher by Littlewoods which you use- which gives you rights to a claim on the discount, then it is worth assuming the worst, and that you will have to repay the money at some point. I'm not trying to spoil anyone's happiness from purchasing what they want, but would prefer that you are alert to the might of such companies to pursue you seeking their pound of flesh and a bit extra.

This seems a good deal, subject to everything working, but I think it is realistic to not expect both Quidco cashback as well as a littlewoods discount, unless Quidco state that the voucher code is compatible with them.

Have there been any recent charge backs / demands for payment. The major case of this happening was back in 2007 when Littlewoods demanded repayment of £25 from some of it customers after they had used a £25 voucher code that was only meant for a small number of people. Martin Lewis of MSE managed to broker a deal with Littlewoods to refund the £25 back to most of the people effected. Over on MSE they say now that very/littlewoods have updated their ordering system to block vouchers that are not valid for you to use.

The TV i'm after the PANASONIC TXL32G10B is a good price without any quidco or voucher so i'm willing to take the risk.

Surely a deal is a bout the product at a pric e littlewoods are nowhere near as bad as your making out your not risking your money if you pay full price. its not like there going to not send you the tv is it?

but anyway it is sold out now so ive expired

very nice

Very nice TV for the money, just one thing though if I buy this then I think the missus will kill me.
Good old Hotukdeals!

Great deal!

It's back in stock!

Oh no. I can't wait for this to go away. I check it a couple of times a day, I am so addicted to tech and would love a full 1080P. We currently have an LG 50" but only 1080i. I am so tempted, damn you HotUkDeals!

out of stock again

I have one of these and its has a great quality picture, could do with a separate surround sound system to improve the sound quality
