Has been cheaper on Amazon recently but that was the 7304.

Only difference as far as I can tell is that this version has a keyboard on the back of the remote. Oh and the outstanding 6 year warranty of course.

I'm actually looking for the 43 inch model but noticed this 55 inch was cheaper than the 50 inch.

Delivering a brilliant picture with a user experience to match, the Philips 55PUS7394 leads the pack.

Philips P5 Perfect Picture Engine delivers stunning image quality
With huge processing power, the Philips P5 Engine delivers the best picture possible – whatever the source. Enjoy the deepest blacks and the brightest whites, the most vivid, brilliant colours and natural, lifelike skin tones. You also get Philips’ most fluid, razor sharp pictures with incredible detail and depth, in sport, movie, or any other genres - every time and from any source.

Ambilight 3-sided for a unique image
A technology that’s unique to Philips, Ambilight technology makes your screen much wider—and your viewing experience more immersive—by emitting an extra wide glow from three-sides of your TV screen onto the surrounding wall. Colour, vibrancy and excitement move beyond the screen and into your living room to bring you a viewing experience beyond the ordinary, with this Philips 55 inch TV.

Get the best from HDR with HDR10+
For the highest quality picture, HDR10+ offers scene-by-scene HDR mastering for the truest, most accurate HDR picture technology to date. With HDR10+ each scene is optimised, meaning the maximum amount of detail is shown – even in the brightest or darkest moments. The 55PUS7394 also supports standard HDR10 and HLG formats. HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma HDR) is a broadcast and user generated standard format that is set to become the standard for transmitting 4K signals.

Dolby Vision for dramatic imaging
As well as supporting HDR10+, the 55PUS7394 is also compatible with Dolby Vision - a leading format in Hollywood and cinemas around the world. Dolby Vision also adjusts the picture to take full advantage of each display's characteristics and presents an optimized picture for each scene in specially mastered content.

Android TV for smart TV
In a complicated world of catch-up TV, Android TV makes sense of it all. Using a clear, intuitive interface, Android lets you effortlessly switch between Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and many other services. Android lets you pick up where you left off in the latest series or check out new movie releases – all without getting lost within complicated menus.

Voice control with built-in Google Assistant and works with Alexa
Working via the built-in Android system, Google Assistant helps you find content, apps and even controls compatible smart home devices, such as the Philips Hue lighting system. All this is available by simple voice command. Alternatively, connect your Amazon Echo or similar Alexa device and use voice commands via Alexa.

Google Store and Philips app gallery
The Google Play store and Philips app gallery go beyond traditional TV programming to bring you a big online collection of movies, TV, music, apps and games. 16GB of expandable memory means there’s plenty of room to store all your favourite content and to install more apps.

Crisp and detailed sound
Compatible with Dolby Atmos sound tracks, the 55PUS7394 has the potential to deliver spacious, enveloping sound. Clear Sound improves dialogue, making it easier to hear individual voices.

Fully connected
Four HDMI sockets make it easy to connect a Blu-ray player, games console, TV set-top box and other device. All sockets are HDMI 2.0 version with HDCP 2.2, making this TV compatible with UHD Blu-ray players and most 4K HDR streaming services. Other connections include twin USB sockets, featuring recording to a compatible USB device. Throw in an optical connection for a soundbar/base plus headphone sockets and you've everything you need from your new TV.

Take your TV experience to the next level, with the Philips 55PUS7394.

Argh. Tempting. I can't see these being any lower BF, surely?!

You could always send a price match request to John Lewis on Saturday. They honour price matches for 28 days, so you would be able to see what Black Friday brings and still get the TV at this price if nothing better shows up.
Does anyone know if this is a direct lit led panel like the 7303?

Thanks

It's the 2019 version of that model essentially. From what I understand a decent improvement on it.

Doubt it but 5 years is ok.

They won't do a 6 year warranty, but their own 5 year offering would be plenty good enough for me.
Does anyone have a link to the differences to the models in the 7300 range? I’ve looked but not found anything.

The only thing I can see different with this model to the 7304 is a remote control with extra tiny buttons on the back.

The differences are:

* 55PUS7304 has white stand and remote with no qwerty keyboard on the back, 55PUS 7334 is same as 7304 but include qwerty keyboard on the back

* 55PUS7354 has grey stand and remote with no qwerty keyboard on the back, 55PUS7394 is the same but includes qwerty keyboard on the back

Have submitted the request, lets see what BF brings
JL declined, can anyone help?

Thanks for your price match enquiry for the Philips 55PUS7394 LED HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart Android TV. I understand that you have seen a voucher code TV30 to use in purchasing this TV.

In order for a price match request to be successful, it needs to meet the criteria in our Never Knowingly Undersold policy. I’ve reviewed your request and regret to inform you that it doesn’t match all, or parts of our policy.

Whilst we do consider temporarily discounted prices, including publicly available voucher codes, they must be published on our competitor’s own website alongside the product at the point of purchase. We don’t consider discount codes or vouchers offered on any 3rd party websites.

Did you purchase?

Yup. Loving it. Brill TV!

Cool. Can’t wait to receive mine! Can I ask you a favour re measurements please. Can you tell me what the distance is from the bottom VESA mount bolts to the bottom of the TV please, without stand. I can’t find any pictures of the back of this thing and need to know if it’ll fit on my existing bracket location
