This is a great price for the TV and the Soundbar. It was £10 more expensive on Black Friday. I originally bought the TV on it’s own on Black Friday and then realised I wanted the Soundbar so I’m going to try and get them to add it to my order.

In store only, which sucks cause i was going to buy this on Black Friday and missed out so was waiting for boxing day sales, but looks like i'm going to miss out again. Maybe Currys will price match but only 2 year warranty.

Worth asking Currys to match the entire deal including warranty?

It’s showing as available to buy online. Is it not showing the buy now button.

oh wow thanks, it's changed this morning.... now do i buy now or wait till boxing day to see if they have it else where... i'm only looking for the TV.

I can get further discount at Currys due to 8% off vouchers I can buy via work benefits site...

Yeah, I also get the work discount for Currys but didn’t want to go through the hassle of making them price match the with the same price, package and warranty.
This was £1,289 on Black Friday (plus there was 15% Quidco - so could have been had for under £1,100)

Not suggesting time machine purchase, just letting people know that at +£1,400 (even with Soundbar) this is perhaps not a great deal

This is still a decent price, also includes 6 year warranty, the cashback offer was with Currys i believe.

Although this is why I want to wait until boxing day, however during black friday/cyber monday it waited and missed out due to stock. I don't think stock levels are great of this TV or it is in high demand, Richer sounds seem to struggle to keep it in stock and Currys ran out before the offer ended on Cyber Monday.

RS have had stock for months. They’re really not selling like hot cakes

Umm several times when i've gone to get it, it says "Online exclusive" and i read and it says due to limited stock, it said this last night, it said this during Black friday and Cyber monday, Currys also ran out of stock for a week after Black Friday and Cyber Monday and ran out of stock before the offer was due to finish, so there have been some stock issues. Also this model has only just been launched recently and only available since around October, it's the older model that has been in stock.

But I believe that’s because they’ve only decided to order limited stock because of low interest levels

Yeah, I think so too, Currys for example don't stock it in stores. I guess Philips just isn't that big of a brand in TV's particularly when people think of the higher end. I'm more interested in it cause of the ambilight, big fan of Philips hue and the TV seems like a very good performer anyway for this price, I think it holds it's own against the LG C9 and with the added ambilight feature that would match all the hue bulbs I have, that is why this is the one I am looking at.
