all Philips tv available in UK are 50Hz panel native not worth the any monney

Its also only 2 sided Ambilight not the 4 sided and they usually have a very poor set of smart apps, in my experience the Philips LED's are rubbish that's why you never hear of anyone having one they are not very popular. You would be better spending your money elsewhere.

The very good John Lewis 55inch set with free LG pad is only £649 you could get £50 for the tablet so £600 for a 55" top of the range LG set with a John Lewis guarantee which is either 2 or 5 years im sure someone will help me out with that.

'LG' and 'top of the range' don't belong in the same sentence. Cheap rubbish, that's why there's always tons of them 'on offer'

Samsung are always on offer! I happen to rate lg over Samsung nowadays, not a bad price for screen size etc

That'll be why they're the market leaders in OLED technology.

When Philips are on their game, they make some of the best tvs around.

It might be me, but I can't see where the tv is from in the title?!

Argos, apologies but I can't edit my deal, I hope this helps

We have a 47" Phillips smart ambilight 3d TV and while the picture is excellent the smart TV is totally useless with next to no useful apps available. Don't buy if you want smart features

I've had a phillips LED sinse they came out and it's been a really good telly, brilliant functionality great picture and sound quality.
Just my opinion of course, oah yeah I used to sell tv's and back then phillips where highly rated and also one of the 10% who don't used LG Screens.

Phillips is also one of the 10% who don't use LG screens and make there own.
Personaly my opinion is phillips are really good and this is a super great offer.

Phillips sold off their TV division in 2012. TPV just use the Phillips brand.
Basically what I'm saying is, this is not a 'Phillips quality' product.

I think a lot of people don't realise how many of the old brand names are pretty much worthless now: they're just stickers placed on an OEM product made in an undifferentiated factory in China, Slovakia or Turkey
