Nice Tv... Nice price... Shame about the poor input lag for gaming. Heat from me

Is this an android TV?

Great price for a 55 inch with 3-sided ambilight (normally only get 2 sided at anything like this price). Heat added. The 43 inch version with 2-sided ambilight is 429 quid!

I have the 55pus6401 and love it.. think it was the last TV they made with an Android OS though unfortunately, No need for extra devices, I run KodI , IPTV and a VPN directly from the TV, Playstore and sideloaded apps all work great.

This is a great price for a 3 way amibilight, 4k HDR set, if it did have android I'd probably have upgraded

Input lag is pretty awful, did you find the input lag on a philips or other reputable site as it does seem like it may be an error?

No, this year's 64_2 and all the models above is still using Android. UK Retailers have just chosen this one instead of the 64 as the better budget offering.

Presumably because Freeview Play, which this has and I think the Android models lack, is more valuable to the average TV buyer.

Input lag seems to be an astoundingly poor 125ms

Lovely I think

Can't be right. Surely? There's seems to be 2 different listing for the same model on display specification website. One has 125ms listed and the other has no number listed. I can't find any other reference to input lag, even on the Philips website...?

What is the difference between this model and 55PUS6262 which gets great reviews?

I Googled for that model and input lag and found a Philips forum post which has suggested it was that and there was no mention of a FW fix unfortunately

To be fair it also states that Philips haven't acknowledged any problems. I got in touch with their online CS not so long ago to ask about a tv and they were hopeless at best 😔

Hot deal.
I have the 32" ambilight that went obsolete a couple of months ago, they don't do one as small now. Would love a 55" model like this for my main room.
Brilliant TVs especially if you invest in Philips Hue as your hue bulbs sync with the Ambilight on the TV

I've struggled to find the actual input lag on any of the 2017 models. But alot of complaints in forums etc from owners. They are known for having high lag. I've decided to go for LG sj model as they all have low lag. And I will be using ps4 quite alot

I asked Phillips they replied- Input lag for 55PUS6272 is 140ms in 50Hz video mode and 40ms in 50 HZ game mode.

So think I may get one
