You ge what you pay for, I'd add £40 and get the Samsung MU6120
don't forget 2.5% cashback - may not work with discount code, but give it a try :-)
This one has AMBILIGHT which is a major plus

And if you have hue bulbs they sync for a full immersive experience.
I dont think I can go back from Ambilight now to be honest. pleased they have released an oled tv now but damn that price...

It's only 2 side though, but at this price it's expected. I have three side and would definitely recommend 4 side if you wall mount.

No worries, there are so many deals it's hard to keep track of them!
Any reviews anywhere?
I own this TV. It is terrible. Wish I'd never bought it.

Really? Whats wrong with it?
Worse picture than my non HDR 4K TV. It has a slow interface. It is terrible at motion so things such as football, or anything fast really, becomes very juddery

Not meaning too be cheeky, but in November you said "It's a decent TV for the money. I've had no issues. Ambilight is cool." So what has changed your opinion?

That was not long after I bought it. Now I've had more time with it, it's flaws have become apparent and now I have noticed them, I can't stop myself from noticing issues in many scenes. Dark scenes are poor too.
My other half seems to be pretty oblivious to these things though so maybe I'm sensitive.

Ambilight is still cool.

If anybody does buy this - update the firmware. It solves WiFi/smart tv issues.

This or Hisense H55N5500 for the same price at AO? (£469 with code) Main difference I see is AMBLIGHT with the Philips, but Hisense seem to have a better name
I got this TV just before Xmas and it is excellent. UHD is crisp and clear, and the ambient lighting is something else!!
Buy it off AO on Ebay and get it for £425 !!!!!
I’ve got the 6262 version of this. It’s not great. My Samsung 46” out performs it in nearly every way. Came close to taking it back but BR, UHD and consoles work well on it. Ambilight is great as well. But it’s a cheap tv really, you get what you pay for
Totally rubbish for football, non Hi-res or dark scenes though.
Is this android?
I have the 65PUS8601 - ambilight all round. Amazing TV. After all the updates the android interface is slick and the image is amazing - especially UHD.

Well I bit the bullet and bought one with the eBay 20% off. Haven't experienced the issues you had, maybe had an update since then. The Philips blows away my old (full HD) LG and Samsung TVs out the water. I previously got the Toshiba Christmas deal which was 4K 50" and returned that. The Philips is an incredible piece of kit far superior and quality unit. With TCB and eBay discount, ended up getting this for £397 !!

I'm still undecided on Ambilight however... At least you can switch it off if required.

Do you game on it? It was at its worst when playing games with a lot of fast movement such as Cod, UFC and Fifa was the worst. I think it was the movement in lots of different directions. It was like playing a slide show.

I did update to the latest firmware too

I'm glad you had a better experience than me, however I did end up getting rid of it. I moved onto a Panasonic, which has been much better.
