Heated. For those willing to wait for the next discount code, it was £389 at Richer Sounds (with 6 year warranty) a little while ago.

Is the 55 inch an IPS screen ??
Built in Leeds? No offense meant to anyone from Leeds, but I didn't realise that they were at the forefront of manufacturing 4K TV's 😁

Very much a Dutch company, although I am sure they build them in various parts of the world, but I am putting this down to a typo as I don't think they have a factory there.
How does this compare to the samsung q70r? It would be a great TV if it wasn't for annoying issues like hdmi signal dropping out sometimes and the ghosting/corona's when playing games.
AVOID. Rubbish TV. Bought one two weeks ago, returned a week later.

You are correct stressedman!

'Who manufactures Philips TVs: Until 2012, Philips TVs were manufactured by the group of the same name. In 2012, the Philips brand was licensed for production by third parties. Philips got rid of the direction of television. Now Philips has nothing to do with Philips TVs.

The only thing left is that TVs under licensing conditions are allowed to be presented on a single Philips site. Visitors to the site have the false impression that the TVs are made by Philips.

Who really is behind the production of televisions under the Philips brand. The license for Philips TVs was purchased by TP Vision, headquartered in Hong Kong. But only for the sale of televisions in Europe, Asia, China, Africa, South America. For the USA, Canada, Mexico and some other countries of the American continent, the brand is licensed by the Japanese company Funai.'
Purchased mine via Richie sounds, posted here and love it, also purchased 43ins for my son
Great TV for the price. Ordered a few weeks ago from Richer Sounds for £400 and I love it! Ambilight is fantastic. Operating system is not the best but fine for me.

I think it's a typo, they meant to say LEDs.
