I've just ordered this for a family member. This has the p5 processor. I've had experience if the slightly cheaper Philips tvs and the system can lag.

Is that with this particular model, or across all Philips TVs?

Know for sure it's 7304 and 7334. So it seems to be the android models.
55PUS7383 doesn't get ITVplayer all4 and the channel 5 version in apps .
As I have that TV .
But it's one hell of a tv for £480 when I bought it from a deal in here with a Ebay code .
I get all catch ups on my PS4 and Mag Box .
Dont really use the android side of things that much .
YouTube and Netflix work in 4K seamlessly and a great picture.
Use the Ambilight for the kids when nieces and nephews stay over .
Sound system works perfectly on ARC setting and have my PS4 hooked up to the HDMI on my sound bar .
Yes the P5 chip does seem to make the running of the TV smooth .
Cant recommend my model enough and if this is similar it's hot from me .
Same same, for I player, et al , i use my PS4 and a decent android box. The TV, picture quality and ambilight are great!
Warranty on this?
Used good available for £359 with today's 20% warehouse offer if that tickles anyone

You can do that with 99% of most modern tvs now, even the very budget range. So not really a seller

Was interested in this TV for the bedroom. The lack of BBC iPlayer is a shame as my missus always uses BBC iPlayer.

The ambilight seems like a gimmick but it really does make gaming and movie watching all the better, I'm merely stating that the lack of 3 apps is really not a big deal over the price and quality of TV.

Maybe not same size at this price point but i think by year end we should start seeing price drops....remember the advent of 4k tvs @ circa 1500....these are now in the sub 500/600 range. I am waiting...

Okay mate, enjoy waiting for your desired price drop on OLED..

.... Watch out for the advent of micro LED. They'll be expensive at first, but just hold that little bit longer and I'm sure they'll be affordable to you

Does the same thing does it? What does “align with ambience” mean?

I presume the ambilight is supposed to mimic some sort of ambience....you see..the lights have no use

Ambilight has separately addressable LEDs that synchronise in different colours the picture on screen

For £2.99 there is not a chance they will mimic the colours on the screen. I'd love to be wrong though

It does by light sensing....the light strips can also be used for mood lighting and to mimic ambience... Ambilight is a con and does not add to your viewing pleasure in any way.....just an array of lights fitted to the rear of your tv, which you can buy for cheap and retrofit accordingly on any budget panel!

Tbh I would take anything from cnet with a pinch of salt....cnet is a fraud!!!...their product reviews are driven by profit and not for consumer benefit.
They run a sort of gangster protection system....i.e. write a negative review....then OEM pays up to uprev the review to a positive one. Fraud imo!!!
