OK yeah just seen it thanks.

Which deal is better value for money, this deal of the 50 inch prime deal?

If you had to go for one ?
What's the returns policy on this?
Oh this is what I wanted.
Whats the warranty on this 1 year?
Am waiting for a deal on the 43". Currently £850
This is the TV I wanted all year.... Ideally in 65 inch but knew the 55 inch would be better value. Was hoping for a deal on black Friday....

I'm holding out for 65".
they've had offer on 50" yesterday morning, now 55"... I'm hoping it 65" next
Same! Doing our Wagatha Christie detective work suggests the 65" must be in deal pipeline surely. ...hopefully.

Yes, I did the same when ordered the 50 inch.
Paid £452 now waiting for Saturday
TVs are changing alot. Just seen some Alexa compatible and the Phillips do the ambient lights. Sic
Anyone looked at the reviews? What's the thoughts on the back light? It's not very black when looking at blacks.
Still would love this and think it's an absolute bargain. Already got 3 tvs and a 120 inch screen+ full HD projector. With the hue lights I already have in the lounge and plex would be special. Small chance we might move within year and the 65 inch model is only thing stopping me. Its going to still be difficult to resist at this price point.
Is the 55" IPS or VA panel?

I read the 50" is VA but the 55" is IPS. I can't decide which to go for as on one hand VA has the better blacks but the IPS has better viewing angles which is important in my room.
Thanks for posting. I've been waiting for an offer on this for ages. Trigger pulled, buyers remorse rising.
Bargain!

im in the same boat. been waiting since june for this to be on offer but ideally want a 65".
Ive been living with a 28" tv for the last 6 years which was fine when I lived in a flat but now live in a house and the 28" looks like a tablet when sat on the sofa. have to bring it up close on a separate tabel. awful set up.

If viewing angles are more important, go for IPS. VA panels generally have a huge drop off in contrast and colour if not viewed head on.

VA is much better for watching movies late at night though.
Finally hit my bight price. Thanks.
Tring to order this amazon contacted the carrier they won't deliver to isle-of-wight I'm fumming here I'm trying to contact Philips see wat they say who ever the carrier is there breaking g the law buy refusing to deliver
So what is better VA or ISP ?

Why would the make the same model with different types of screen due to size ?

Should be different models if the screen type is not the same ?
I don't know what amazon doing with these Philips TV prices btw...it is super confusing..
The 50" tv the other day with the deal was £458 then the next day (yesterday) went up to £599, this morning I have checked it was £1000 and now it is £750...

It will be cheaper on Black Friday

Only place I found that you can buy is amazon. I don’t know why they only sell on amazon, no other retailers online.

Neither is better, they just have their own characteristics with their own compromises. You have to be looking at much higher end TV's to get the best of both worlds (OLED, higher-end QLED (VA with viewing angle optical layer).
So,what do you think, buy it or wait black Friday? Because I'm so interested. Good price and tv. I'm looking tv till 500 pounds
@BigStart there are many retailers that sell this TV. Curry's, richer sounds, Argos etc etc.
