Looks like a good deal to me, would prefer a 5 year warranty instead of 2. This is the one with Android and P5 chip. 43 inch and 50 inch also reduced in price.

very good deal, 5 Year warranty and I would be sold, shame richer sounds don't stock this.

Great price, its a shame they don't stock the 65". Amazon and Costco appear to be the only retailers of the 7/8000 models for 65", unless anyone knows another? Regardless, the p5 sounds to be well worth the extra if anyone is looking for 55"
Ambilight + android on board for 529. Just ordered, thank you.

55PUS7383 and 55PUS7303 are exactly same tvs. Only reason that AO is selling this model is due to their "Price match promise" to avoid others prices.
Model up from the other ambilight deals today, at a fraction of the price more. Hot!
And £20 cashback through quidco
Would bite if a 65er
Great. Now I have to decide between this and the argos model and if I go for 50 inch or 55 inch. Duh. 1st world problems at xmas

I’m returning this tv after having it since Black Friday. Normal 4K is fine but HDR is unwatchable. Ambilight is a novelty that wears off.

If your hoping of getting a TV in this price bracket that will play hdr OK you'll have to wait a few more years.

Judging by all the reviews I've seen even in the case of much more expensive tvs in over 90% of circumstances your better off forgetting the TV even claims to support hdr, it's just one of those things, it's not there yet

Frustrating. I have amazon vouchers to use. Hope they price match the 7303. Thanks for input.

This price bracket is 700 to 800 new. I’d expect half decent HDR for that.

I was in the same boat but went for this with delivery on Friday. Could always cancel this if something better comes along

Well if I paid 700-800 for this theb I'd be wanting my money back too as far as I know this tv was never 700-800 perhaps it was the rrp for a brief period but remember it got discounted to sub 650 just weeks after it launched.

In my previous post I was referring to the 500-650 price bracket and this is probably among the best in that cat along with the nu8000.

Unless you go above 950 you won't find a TV that does half decent hdr.

There are reviews of last years flagships some of which were 1200-1300 and more and even those constantly get bashed in reviews for poor HDr performance, I think what your looking for just does not exist yet unless you can recommend something?
Anyone know if this is better than the 50pus6703 at Argos? Also is this 3 way ambilight or just 2 way?

You've changed your tune.
I have this TV, paid the same from AO about a month ago. I really love the ambilight but it does help that we have other ambilight products in the house. Picture out of the box is utterly dreadful and needs a fair amount of changing in the settings which are not the most straight forward to use. When I first had it out of the box it looked dreadful compared to the 10 year old plasma it was replacing but adjusting the gamma settings has helped massively, oh, and if you want to do HDR you have to explicitly enable that via the settings too which is hidden in a slightly strange place.

To answer other questions, 3 way ambilight and the difference between the 73XX models is just the bezel colour or stand type or if it has an integrated soundbar or not, otherwise they are all identical.

Yes, the 7303 (dark grey bezel) or 7383 (silver bezel) are by far the better model.

It has 3 way ambilight, P5 processor and Android. It's also a direct lit panel.

Ostensibly the difference between the 7303 and the 7383 was originally the bezel colours. However if you hanker after a VA panel then opt for the 7383 as you have every chance it will be a VA. With the 7303 there is a chance if you get recent stock builds then you may get an IPS panel.

At this price point this TV blows away any comparably priced model from competing brands. This is firmly a mid-upper tier spec'd tv as opposed to entry budget builds from competitors. With a little tweaking you can get it to produce excellent images. The remote is high quality as well.

As far as price match AO.com are one of the few that stock this range. Amazon and Boots offers are both supplied by AO.com anyway.

Finally if you have Philips Hue lightbulbs then this TV is able to work in tandem with your bridge and produce a wonderful room filling viewing/ambilight experience. This feature alone really sets this TV apart from all other brands but fundamentally it's a great tv anyway to begin with. It's a real standout tv at this price.

Was that quidco or just a regular new customer offer?
P5 processor devours the 67xx models. Also native android based instead of Saphi or whatever it is

Just buy it for 4K basic and 1080 for this price. It's £500 for God's sakes. I bought my LG 720p plasma 12 years ago when 1080p was just coming in. £40 per year that TV has cost me

Go OLED of you want HDR

I bought this. Phoned them up and got a £20 off code

LED is better than OLED for HDR
I bought the 43 version of this on Black Friday but returned it because the bottom half of the picture was flickering. Bear in mind that is very thick compared to today's standard. Really nice remote and ambilight is great. Tip: set Ambilight to respond to sound not colour - better results IMHO.

Have you bought another one?
This is really tempting me but I'm going to hold on until boxing day/ New year's Day Sales and see what other offers are available.
Still waiting for the 65" come down in price missed the amazon Black Friday deal.

Apparently the P5 processor makes a huge difference and there's a P5 gen2 but only available in the latest OLED sets.

What's the metro? The newspaper?
Which one is better? This in the 50 inch version for £449 or the Sony 49xf7002 for £399?

Shame Argos don't sell this model as I have a mate who works there and can give me a 10% discount.
I got the 50” version on this £389 which is decent. The 50” is £449 - £20 Quidco and I had a £40 voucher. All round happy with that for the bedroom
