Strongly considering this after my old plasma has given up the ghost last night. Anyone recommend this or anything that can be compared?

Why not look into getting the plasma fixed? We've got a 6 year old 51in Samsung plasma and still love it. Been fixed once under warranty from John Lewis.
A shame as Saph OS

Nothing beats plasma for authenticity in image imo. OLED is beautiful, but after two permanent burn in sets by LG, never ever again for me. The 2 plasma Panasonic sets we have are still going strong. Plasma image reproduction is a thing of beauty.

It’s around 10 years old now and only 1080i. It is also like having a radiator on in the room when it’s on. I’m actually looking forward to replacing it
The price its not what its showing
